With regards to next season I'd be happy if we kept Mullen, Baird, O'Connor, Strapp, Wilson, Crawford, Blues and Oakley. Not that arsed about the rest.
-
Well if we're 6 figures in the black I'd like to see Imries budget increased further allowing us to aim for a higher placed finish which would potentially offset any increase through prize money. Do we have details of the difference between the budget of this season and next?

I wouldn't suggest spending outwith our means but surely a bit of speculation is required at times such as this.

Match Preview/Thread - Morton vs Dundee United

I can stomach the style of football we play under Imrie when we're seeing success on the park but my patience is running thin now. -

Quitongo was our best player tonight which says it all. -

I didn't think Ayr looked threatening at all tbh. Still fancy us to get at least a point. -

Despite VT mooting an error O'Connor made against Ross County many moons ago I'd still always start the tried and trusted partnership of him and Baird whenever available. Muirhead shouldn't be starting either but I suppose we've little other option and he has to recover form at some point I suppose. Home win. Delighted if I'm proved wrong but I fear the worst tonight. -

That's down to the manager surely and not John Laird? -

Must admit I don't recall O'Connor having any bad games. -

Wasn't there due to work but I'm continually baffled at the omission of O'Connor who's debatably our best and most consistent defender. He and Baird should both start when fit without exception. -

This may sound petty but I'll wait and see if behind the goals are opened before committing to going. Very off putting. -
I hope Inverness sink without trace tbh.

He doesn't work hard off the ball and has a questionable attitude which is why he's had so many clubs. It's also ridiculous to say anyone wants rid of him for merely having a pop at the support. -

I've never had an issue with Blues, you always get a shift out him. People are making excuses for Muirhead. -

I feel exactly the same. If he thinks he's above Morton then let's see where he ends up next. -

Broadfoot has just shot up further in my estimations and Muirhead could learn a lot from him. Nobody took more stick than him during the early part of the season but he gradually found his feet and became a key part of our turnaround bar a few recent blips. Nobody appears to be more delicate than Muirhead, tbf. -

I couldn't make yesterday but he won't do himself any favours with that sort of carry on even if he feels its justified. He's not been at it for weeks so criticism was more than merited. He gets heaped with praise the majority of the time and has his own song. -

Bizarre selection again. Baird and O'Connor should always be our first choice pairing. Bearne in from the cold ahead of Garrity is a strange one too and Muirhead needs a kick up the arse after a string of woeful performances. I'd have preferred Jai or Garrity opposite Bearne tbh. -

I agree. Surely a small bit of speculation has to be the sensible option under current circumstances? Especially considering we're guaranteed to generate a 6 figure profit. Securing a play off spot alone would offset the outlay of a player or two. -

I totally agree with all of this. Muirhead has infuriated me for weeks now too. Its clear to see why he's had so many clubs, his attitude stinks at times. His talent is undoubted but his work ethic is appalling. I'd much rather have seen Garrity starting out wide and Muirhead benched as he contributed zero yesterday both in terms of productivity and effort. -
It was abused far too much. Isn't that why it was done away with? I've started taking my 10 year old with me and I think £5 for her is excellent value although she was free earlier in the season. When did it change?
