  1. Looks like he's in the starting XI for Annan today.
  2. Saw it on the web elsewhere and the wording made it seem recent. Oh well.
  3. All the club needs to do is have Dougie wear the jumper for a post match interview (ideally after a win) and watch the sales rise.
  4. If it's true, he can finally collect his POTY award from 2013-14.
  5. O'Ware (booked), Tidser (subbed) and Low all played for the Kelty Hearts side that won 3-2 at Falkirk yesterday.
  6. McManus played for TNS tonight as they lost at home to Dundee in the Challenge Cup.
  7. Hunter didn't play in that season (92-93) at all. He returned for the second half of the following season, when were already well on our way to relegation.
  8. Alan Mahood. Subbed after about 10 minutes.
  9. That shirt started off lemon yellow in colour but was definitely dyed a deeper shade later in the season.
  10. Gary Oliver sent off for F*lk*rk whilst they lose 3-0 at Dundee.
  11. I did notice that Turner's reception was rather less than Jim Rooney's was. Whilst he did play for the midden, Turner was still a major part in the last Morton side to get promoted to the top flight and scored in our first home win over Deadco in 70 years. I don't really have a problem with him - he played for two other clubs before going to Paisley (plus his error led to our 2nd goal in the 5-1 game).
  12. The one I'm thinking on was during the 03-04 season, when the aforementioned fresh produce item was lobbed from the back of the Cowshed during the first half of a match and just missed the linesman (who had been having a stinker).
  13. I think you’ll find it was a lettuce. And it did have the desired effect on the Cowshed linesman’s performance.
  14. Someone in front of me in the queue was searched. Big guy with a beard who looked completely harmless. At the time it almost seemed that it was giving one steward something to do whilst the other one tried to get the turnstiles working again.
  15. Unwilling to accept baldness. Even someone in the Cowshed invited him to "just f**king shave it aff ya wee c**t".
  16. Well he's definitely not coming here now.
  17. Two goals in twelve games for F*lk*rk against League 1 defences last season. I think we can do better than this.
  18. Rikki Lamie sent off as Motherwell win 1-0 in Paisley.
  19. Greg Kiltie was sent off in the 1st half as the midden lost 2-0 at Airdrie, and are also out of the cup now.
  20. Very sad to hear. Was delighted when I heard we'd signed him as he was always scoring against us (his cup replay winner for Hearts at Scapa prompted us to bring Roy Baines back). Was lucky enough to speak to him at the '79 night - he spoke very highly of Bobby Thomson. I'd recently finished reading "Ghosts of Cathkin Park" which he'd made contributions to.
