Fans have been banging on about merchandise for years, and will surely be a good avenue for us in bringing in some cash. I wonder how much could have been brought in if we had some form of strategy around Christmas time. It’s incredibly poor but not unexpected from us.
The previous training gear that we all liked was just for the playing squad and not for fans to buy which is absolutely mental.
I’m sure the MCT questionnaires will have a whole host of things on them but I would imagine club merchandise will feature heavily. The club ultimately has to start listening to the fans and ditch the lip service / sound bites we’ve been getting since the takeover.
We want to know what’s going on, who’s doing what, show us transparency with decision making. Give us some form of social media with updates that you can actually hear. Get the absolute basics right and don’t treat the fans, who have made the takeover possible, with contempt.
And lastly get that fucking bobble hat in Smiths so we can buy it.
Fingers are crossed for Dougie tonight, everyone is right behind him

The silence is absolutely deafening. It has been confirmed that MCT are doing the day to day with Crawford well relieved of his duties despite the legal hold ups. It’s extremely poor the way things have started off, very little communication, we’ve no idea who’s doing what at the club, it’s all very weirdly faceless which for a club that’s being ran by fans is bizarre.
It’s harming the potential of the project with many folk skeptical and unsure on whether to get involved or not. Worryingly people may look to withdraw contributions if there is no transparency.
Update the fans, the people who are putting their money in so the whole thing works. It’s ripping the piss when a spokesperson comes out last month talking about clear communication and we’re getting fuck all. Sort it.

By far the most out of his depth keeper we’ve had in my time watching the club anyway. He should take a bit of responsibility for his shocking performances, slow motion dives, palming the ball straight out to the opposition, diving over the top of shots. Still trying to forget about it, it was just bizarre and he’s papering over the cracks a bit after the state of his part in the famous own goal with McGeever this season

A debt, just to clarify, that wouldn’t ever need to be paid off. Clarified and stated by the chairman of the club, in public, in front of a few hundred fans, to a round of applause and documented in the papers.

The vote speaks for itself here, they absolutely have to get back round the table and get an option 3 sorted or else all the good work/support is lost.
Crawford doesn’t want any part of it, and he’s clearly a chancer going back on his word, which was thankfully very well documented at the time.
MCT need to step up or the whole notion is fucked. They have to represent the wishes of the members, not what Crawford wants.To add to previous comments, the 2m figure needs explained pronto.

500k was written off at the initial stage when MCT got involved and for every 100k contributed GC would write off a further 500k.
MCT hit that 100k in December 2020, so there’s another 500k off the debt (remember the debt that would never be called in, and isn’t something to worry fans) So we are paying off a debt that doesn’t need paid off if we go on Crawfords word. Clearly it’s to be paid off as that’s what we are doing and we have knocked 1m off it since MCT came in but we’re still sitting at 2million?
It’s a fucking joke, and I’m shocked that 2m is even being discussed when we’ve paid off 1m of it already.
He is effectively putting hee haw in, has had the grant of 500k from the government paid aswell so I fully expect a hard line from MCT. Get him told. He would be getting an absolute hounding if fans were allowed into games.

Unbelievable the brass neck of these absolute *****. Singled handedly cause 2m(?) of the debt by prolonged mismanagement, come out and tell us that the debt isn’t an issue, when clearly it is an issue.
If only fans were allowed into games, he would be getting hounded. Absolutely behind the manager and playing squad 100% but we need to get this charlatan out.
