  1. The vote speaks for itself here, they absolutely have to get back round the table and get an option 3 sorted or else all the good work/support is lost. Crawford doesn’t want any part of it, and he’s clearly a chancer going back on his word, which was thankfully very well documented at the time. MCT need to step up or the whole notion is fucked. They have to represent the wishes of the members, not what Crawford wants. To add to previous comments, the 2m figure needs explained pronto.
  2. 500k was written off at the initial stage when MCT got involved and for every 100k contributed GC would write off a further 500k. MCT hit that 100k in December 2020, so there’s another 500k off the debt (remember the debt that would never be called in, and isn’t something to worry fans) So we are paying off a debt that doesn’t need paid off if we go on Crawfords word. Clearly it’s to be paid off as that’s what we are doing and we have knocked 1m off it since MCT came in but we’re still sitting at 2million? It’s a fucking joke, and I’m shocked that 2m is even being discussed when we’ve paid off 1m of it already. He is effectively putting hee haw in, has had the grant of 500k from the government paid aswell so I fully expect a hard line from MCT. Get him told. He would be getting an absolute hounding if fans were allowed into games.
  3. Unbelievable the brass neck of these absolute *****. Singled handedly cause 2m(?) of the debt by prolonged mismanagement, come out and tell us that the debt isn’t an issue, when clearly it is an issue. If only fans were allowed into games, he would be getting hounded. Absolutely behind the manager and playing squad 100% but we need to get this charlatan out.
  4. Nicky Cadden with an assist and a last minute goal for Forest Green.
  5. He quite likes a goal against Queens.
  6. Jack Iredale with a goal tonight against Salford.
  7. Hopefully he was swiftly dispatched into the North Sea!
  8. He’s a walking cliche that boy! An absolute stick on that he drives a white Range Rover Evoque!
  9. JJ loses again. Only managed 2 wins in 7 so far since taking over at TPS.
  10. Sounds positive going forward. Q&A is a useful tool for folk like myself who havent been totally convinced by it all. Only two things that came up that I’m still unsure of. In relation to Cappielow “there could be a clause to give MCT first option to buy if Golden Casket ever decide to sell”. I thought aslong as MCT are in control GC wouldn’t sell Cappielow at all anyway? I understand MCT would want to have first option on this though. The ownership of Cappielow could be a potential worry and surely it would be more beneficial MCT owning it too? Financially that would have huge implications in order to acquire it but ideally this would be owned at time of the changeover. Secondly, “we would like to see the academy continue to thrive, but again this will depend on the post Covid financial position”. Does that sound a bit ominous? Is there an option of not having the academy going forward when it seems to be actually giving us some decent players? I thought this would have been really important going forward with a sustainable/break even budget? Overall the MCT have done a shitload of work on this over the past while which is definitely impressive and hopefully things continue to go in the right direction. You can’t help but compare this progress to the GMST. Light years ahead and I feel MCT is doing what a lot of us would of expected the GMST to be doing. Keeping my fingers crossed for the future.
  11. I’m sure the Gartcairn manager played with and coached Harkins at Partick a few years back.
  12. We have let players go during the window so surely it should be a like for like replacement in terms of the actual budget and not MCT money that’s sorting this signing out? Feels like the club are being let off big time.
  13. Honestly have MacLean up there as one of the worst we’ve had in recent years. Did absolutely heehaw and the only person who thought he was a player was himself.
  14. This. They must be pishing themselves us giving them money to write off the debt that they ran up due to their own mismanagement and incompetence.
  15. I know things are bad at our end but fuck being that mob just now! Get it right up ye Ray and that wee baldy helmet Taylor. Hopefully never to be seen again with any credible full time team ever again.
  16. He would have probably still palmed it out to be fair. That goal against Dunfermline was one of the worst pieces of goalkeeping I’ve ever seen in the flesh. Sorry Deego! 😂
  17. I thought the same at the time. Ball was very close to him and expected him to get it. Did well in his one on one, but was lucky near the end when instead of smothering the ball just kicked it straight to opposition on halfway line.
  18. Yeah gutted aswell. I know the budget has had to go elsewhere due to our defensive frailties but everyone really took to him in his time here and he showed his quality latterly.
  19. He will absolutely be able to offer something as a squad player. Ideally the same goes for McAlister who is another decent squad option for us. The main thing at the moment other than strengthening at centre half is balancing the side out properly with a RB and getting Blues out of that starting 11. Incredibly out of his depth.
  20. Mark Russell continuing to stink the place out at Finn Harps with a red card early in the first half.
  21. This. That is the way that I view the scheme aswell.
