Why has there been absolutely no mention of Storer by the club, just completely vanished back down the road and nothing said.
-
How are we looking squad wise next season, who’s tied down already?

Going on any kind of winning run in this league is the ultimate dream. We had the opportunity in the past week to really throw ourselves up into the mix above us. Opportunity is definitely not completely gone as it’s so tight but lots of hard work required to get there.
On Stuparevic, he was better than decent for us before his injury but let’s remember he had his struggles playing through the middle as a focal point for us too. Saying that, I’d absolutely have him back.

Has there been any sort of update on Storer? Don’t think he’s been at any of the games, is he down the road receiving treatment? Will he be back before the end of the season? He’s been such an important player for us this season, feels fucking weird there’s been no mention of anything.

Could’ve been an excellent week.

Lots of positives to take from last night. We were a joy to watch at times and some players like Wilson, Ballantyne, Gillespie really stood out. Delaney going forward was excellent at times and looks to have been given more of a license to push on.
Would like to have seen subs made a bit sooner to try and stifle that wee period of pressure near the end but we looked really good over the piece. There was elements in the first half were our press was excellent but appreciate the difficulty in maintaining that for the 90.
Hopefully push on, get a good result on Saturday and get some minutes in the legs of Crawford & Taylor returning from their injuries.
Assuming Lyall is maybe injured? I have been really looking forward to seeing him get a proper run in the team so fingers crossed nothing long term.

Jon Connolly clearly hitting up every hot bed shop in Kircaldy since his departure from us. Embarrassment of a coach - maybe some bad blood.
Looked like Imrie had a go at someone on our bench at FT also.
Seen a flurry of teeth and tan in the dugout. Don’t think Dougie was involved in any of it? Millen booked aswell I think.

What is there to be gained by said person?

It’s all the big bad fans fault once again, getting Laird out and costing us the sponsorship
Absolutely hee haw to show for their input anyway and if they are offski at the end of next season then that’s no bother.

Done more wrestling than playing actual football every time I’ve seen him but at least offers something different up there for us. Hopefully see a few goals

This whole Dalrada thing just hurts my head.

Got to be better than Hart and Corr that’s went before him so best of luck to him. Hopefully at least 1 striker to come in

Brilliant, hardworking performance and we should really have been well in the clear by halftime. Brophy’s miss in the first half was giving me nightmares thinking it could bite us in the arse. Played some really nice stuff at times which was pleasing too.
Collectively everyone played really well. Probably Delaneys best game for us, particularly going forward he was brilliant. Notable mentions to Moffat, Shug and Owen’s who I thought looked very good.
-
Would like to see us keep Brophy as he definitely has something to offer us squad wise.

What a goal

That’s that humped then. Done at a corner again, a few players needing to have a word with themselves and stand up to it and fight.
-
No goals in that first half is mental. Huge opportunity missed here.

Interested to hear Murray’s post match comments. Disgraceful start.

Clearly the two weeks of intense training didn’t look at how to defend a ball that goes into your box.

Whilst I understand that we could get a student to do the work, I would prefer us to pay people properly for their work where possible. I wonder if Murray wants Sports Science to play a stronger role in his management of the team and, therefore, has different needs than the previous regime.
So we would still technically be employing them as a “Sports Scientist” as they would already have that undergraduate degree and be registered to practice as one. Some will go back and do a post grad or masters in research (can specialise in certain sports and elite teams/academies want the masters now) and it’s quite common to work alongside it. We appointed the boy Watkiss from Ayr as Head of Sports Science a few months back but can’t remember seeing him for awhile now?

Good to hear there’s been positive communication and there is a better working relationship between both boards now. Long may that continue. Thanks for the update lads.

Graham Barr took responsibility for his part in the communication issues between the boards and apologised at the time.
By all accounts since election of the new MCT board they have had a positive experience dealing with Barr and his communications with them have been good.
Back in May I would have put Barr in the same category as Robinson and been in favour of binning both, but based on the above I would now be fine with him remaining - especially if the MCT leadership who deal with him day to day are in favour of it.
Whereabouts did Barr apologise? There was a joint statement that came out with a form of an apology in it but don’t remember it being specific to one person? Otherwise I can’t seem to recall very much, if anything publicly coming from either individual since.
Interested to hear the thoughts on the positive experiences and better communication from Barr and the new MCT board too.
For me, they’ve still both got to go.

Worried at the top end of the pitch going into this run in. Long balls and crosses into the box to absolutely nobody who can do anything with it anyway. How we haven’t went and got someone in on an emergency loan up front was surprising, knowing Main is out for ?3 games and Brophy is injured.
The timing of substitutions is definitely an issue, but there’s an argument who’s there to come on and improve things. For me, Taylor and Crawford definitely should be involved.
Centre halves done well, Wilson, and Gillespie in spells.
