  1. I think that contacting MCT would/should be your first port of call, but why do that when you can first announce your intentions on the messageboard?
  2. I'll be the Robbie Resenbrink of this thread: Hej Doosje, you are fucking it up. Next.
  3. I listened to it earlier on YouTube. A few very good songs on it. Thanks for the recommendation.
  4. Aye, someone like BSC Edusport Braves or some shite like that, and we're back to square one.
  5. That's one of the things I hate about Scottish football nowadays, is shite clubs suddenly being considered to be part of the 'senior' game without having the wherewithal to sustain their place. For all their criticism they attracted, what do Edinburgh City bring to the table that Cowdenbeath, Brechin or Berwick don't? At least those clubs would be able to field a team and fulfil their fixtures, they have their own grounds and have modest support from their respective communities. ETA: Whilst we're on the subject of 'clubs' that don't contribute anything to the Scottish game, why are Queens Park playing at Hampden? Get them to fuck.
  6. Why do 'Scheme Goblins' spend more than most on Fireworks at New Year? For the vast majority of them, this year will be exactly the same as last, and will be sod all worth celebrating. So why bother? Discuss.
  7. Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan brands David Hopkin a waste of money for him:
  8. Here's hoping. Where it is head and shoulders above the railways in the UK is the quality of their rolling stock. ETA: did you get tickets okay?
  9. I've been let down by DB a few times over the years. Mostly on Train>Airport connections.
  10. Irony is that Deutsche Bahn's Drivers have been on strike the past couple of days over Currywurst vouchers. I hope they get their shit together when we're over there.
  11. Well, when you put it like that I could think of worse. Things that are pissing me off: Pundits who have England already in the final, and pundits who are talking about Wales as if they are actually going to qualify too.
  12. We go again tomorrow. I wonder what the next debacle will be. Incidentally, what is everyone's thoughts on the draw? The choice of venues? Munich is the ideal place for the opening tie, albeit they know how to milk the fans with the prices, however Cologne and Stuttgart are too far apart creating a lot of needless journeys. I cant help but think that this could have been organised better.
  13. Ticket Sales are delayed: Due to a technical error, UEFA EURO 2024 codes have been sent out to Scotland Supporters Club members who are not eligible to buy tickets at this stage. As a result of this error, the sale scheduled for 12 noon will be delayed until further notice while we liaise with UEFA to resolve the issue. The Scottish FA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters at this time. We will communicate further information on the sales schedule as soon it is available.
  14. Those of us of a certain age group grit our teeth at seeing/reading the 'Dancing in the Streets of Raith' pun. Its there with 'Thistle do nicely' and 'Firhill for Thrills' of annoyingly crap football headlines and pundit-speak related to Scottish football. Anyway, I'd much sooner see Inverness do well than Raith, but then again i'm more of a traditionalist.
  15. That will be their equivalent of 'ivry buddy chips in munny' I suppose. That ingenuity of thought will be from the singular brain cell from their current finance director I suppose. Which makes me wonder how cretins like him manage to snake their way into boardrooms.
  16. What's with all the 'Da' patter? Can it only be twenty-somethings that can communicate on 'social' media nowadays?
  17. and Kudus set one up for Spurs today. I always rated him.
  18. That made me think of a song by a band called Salad, from the early 1990's. It was called 'Kent' and had a catchy chorus 'why don't you live in a house in Kent, and spend all your money in Brent.' I googled them and the years haven't been kind to them. Unlike other indie bands of that era like Ride or MBV whose tunes are timeless classics and get better each time you hear them, this lot are just a cringefest to watch nowadays: However, I'm sure Alan Partridge Ton would appreciate Miriam Van Der Minge, as she was a TV presenter too. From Holland.
  19. I thought he moved into the static home with that russian burd?
  20. Why doesnt he post any more? This messageboard is boring without him. Discuss.
  21. I don't know if this is a 'Gourlay Free-Kick' moment, as i'm a bit out the loop nowadays but I saw this today: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ibroxnews.com/2023/10/20/rangers-unexpectedly-sacked-kitman-jim-mcalister/%3famp Edit to add: https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/rangers-rumours/rangersrumours25527.php
  22. Does anyone else see the irony of CHC bemoaning anyone's 'lack of height'?
  23. Nah. That's as big a fail as YOUR French day. Better luck next time, champ.
  24. You and your kids may have indeed enjoyed the day, HumCum, however what you fail to realise that the day was actually more about Port-Ton that it was ever about Fouad Bachirou. To the extent that he even refers to it as 'his' Fred appreciation day and takes mortal offence when anyone says anything wrong about it. That went right over my head mate.
