  1. Cannae wait to see the highlights. Oh, and if we were to win our game in hand, we’d be in 4th. We can look upwards now - what a run we’re on. 17 points from the last 7 games. Superb. To think folk were saying Dougie should be sacked. He’s shown what he can do when we have our squad fit.
  2. Great result. Nerves shredded listening to it on the radio. When Oakley scored the winner it wasn’t clear at first which team had scored. What a relief when Oakley was mentioned. Massive 3 points.
  3. Maybe they would want to sign him but put him out on loan to us until the end of the season.
  4. Forecast for no snow in Inverness, but high chance of snow anywhere between Dumfries and somewhere north of Perth, so travel might be impacted.
  5. Mcgrattan was poor today, Muirhead too. We looked much more dangerous in the second half, especially after the subs came on. Bearne had a great chance but shot when a cutback was probably a better option. Wilson was excellent. Strap’s long throws were wasted as it is a wide pitch and he was only reaching the near edge of the six yard box at best - needed someone to come short for a knock on. We need more firepower up front. Oakley will help with that but having Jai back would make a big difference. A point is ok, but disappointing. Need at least a point next week.
  6. Harkness is back at Therangers - injured without even kicking a ball, it seems.
  7. In which case, the conflict of interest is clear. A chairman who has a conflict of interest should step down.
  8. We're surely not paying for Harkness? Is he not away back to THerangers?
  9. Good move that probably benefits both parties. No real downside imho.
  10. Is his loan deal not till the end of the season?
  11. IIRC when Wilson was here the first time he looked a carthorse but once he got up to match fitness he was far better.
  12. Had to Google to find out where Luncarty is. Certain to be screened live I assume.
  13. Probably be better to just have FC without any dots, but having a single dot is just semi-literate. On a par with football pundit speech like I done, I have went. Could be a very expensive mistake.
  14. I was toying with the idea of trying to get a ticket for that game as I'll be in Malaga for a week and the Spain game is the night before we fly home, but it's quite a long trip to Seville so will just be watching in a suitable bar. I'm assuming most will be showing the game live... Definitely a huge improvement in the merch available from Morton compared to a year ago.
  15. I think you're spot on here. Some people are just reading too much into someone liking a tweet. If Lewis is bitter about Imrie, it doesn't mean he's suddenly going to hate the club that he has played with, developed as a player, and given great service too, for several years. Still think Imrie was wrong to let him go and it does seem he may have some issue with our youth academy players generally, but this tweet is just some folk taking things too seriously.
  16. If only there was a decent left back somewhere, currently without a club, someone who could also play on the right if required.
  17. Primary School in your case, presumably.
  18. I think sending King out on loan would be a mistake. Our squad is fairly small as it is, and he generally contributes when he gets on the park. I can see the point with Garrity but IMHO King is a different kettle of fish. I'd like to see him get more game time though.
  19. There was a clip on twitter or FB or somewhere of Bearne scoring with an overhead kick at the Sinclair Street end during a training session, which suggests they must be training at Cappielow at least some of the time.
  20. Was it not a cost saving measure introduced under the old regime?
  21. Has it been confirmed that Wilson is either signed or being signed?
  22. The difference between Robbie Crawford before coming here and Robbie Crawford now is Dougie Imrie. Who's to say that if Crawford moves elsewhere, he will still perform at the level Imrie has got him to. He has become supercharged, but has he been doing it over a long enough period to convince clubs to sign him? Surely they would want to see him over a longer period before making a move? I'm wondering if this story is just a speculative piece based on the fact that Robbie has scored a few goals already this season, and maybe no coincidence that we are playing Therangers on Saturday so the press are looking at Morton more closely because of that.
  23. I hope the Wilson story is mince. Slow & injury prone IIRC, and not good enough. I hope the Crawford story is also just creative journalism.
