I think it's a measured statement that covers some of the areas of concern and puts a bit more context around the budget issue that's blown up since Hopkins departure. I don't have huge issue with what MCT say on Cappielow as that was always going to be a tricky problem but I'm relieved that although our financial position is very difficult it is not quite as grim as it's been painted.

That was one of my first thoughts too. From the meeting it is clear to me that capital investment will be required for ground improvements rather than routine maintenance. Separating the club and ground has always concerned me but if what I heard tonight is right then there is some pretty good mitigation.

I thought long and hard about contributing to MCT and decided in the end to go with it. The main reason was the possibility of reducing the overall debt and hopefully make the club a more attractive prospect to a potential buyer. I'll be sticking with that decision but do sympathise with your general point that MCT should be using their 'influence' to highlight just how out of touch the BoD seem to be with the views of fans.
