  1. Just watched Dougie's press conference on YouTube he said that other than Kirk Broadfoot there's no change from Saturday
  2. Person involved did run the line v Airdrie, something else that made that particular incident all the more laughable. He must be one of the more recognisable figures in the shed.
  3. Leaving all of the above aside, the worst and craziest stewarding decision I have ever witnessed was the day two male stewards arrived and spoke to a regular fan standing beside me. To be fair, the two stewards were visibly embarrassed and apologetic as they told the guy they'd been instructed by their supervisor to tell him to remove his yellow North Face jacket because he may have been mistaken as being a steward by other fans. When he protested pointing that it was cold, they told him to turn it inside out! Then the following conversation ensued. But it's been raining and the outer side is wet, he said. Well we've been told to put you out if you refuse, but if you take it off then put it back on once we walk away that'll be ok. So that's what happened and nothing more was said. I have no Idea if it's the same stewarding company or personel that's currently involved or not, but the two stewards referred to the person making the decision as SHE. What ever happened to discretion?
  4. I take the point above regarding submitting attendance levels, however, on our most recent trip to Hampden a large number of Morton fans were held up and arrived at the stadium late, and after kick off, as a result of a traffic accident at Erskine and the fact there was another game in the east end of Glasgow the same day. On arrival, the Queens Park stewards simply waved everyone through the turnstiles and didn't even check or scan tickets.
  5. That's actually one of the points I intend raising. If we use myself as an example..... I've been attending Cappielow for more than 50 years, I've held saeaon tickets regularly for a large number of those years, only not taking a ST when I was working shifts and it wasn't worth it. I'm a member of MCT and have recently signed my grandson up as a member also. So, if I turn-up after kickoff, for whatever reason, and am being denied entry by "Helga Geehart" then she is effectively preventing part owners of the club entry. As you said in an earlier post on the same subject, she's either all sugar or all shite. I know I keep returning to the subject,(for which I apologise) but that night she told me to take the boy off the barrier with 89 and a half minutes of the game gone really annoyed me, especially when you see video footage of adults dancing on the barriers at the Motherwell game and there's not a steward to.be seen. So what's her problem, are those lads too big for her to take to task? Is she only capable of harassing an auld man and a 6 year old?
  6. When I complained about said female steward telling me to take my grandson off the barrier with 89 and a half minutes gone, a club employee told me that the ground was "signed over" to the stewarding company until approximately an hour after the game was completed, and that therefore the stewarding were responsible for the stadium and that GMFC were not. He further stated that this was one of the most frequent scenarios he encountered, people (including ST holders) turning up late, for whatever reason, and being refused entry by stewards. He said he often got phone calls from folk in this situation asking to get in, but given that the stewards were "in charge of the stadium" there was nothing he could do. TBH I didn't believe him at the time, but this adds a bit of truth to that now. It's something that I'll be raising at the QandA session with the board later in the month.
  7. Anyone know why GBR and Big Chris can no longer show video footage. Is it an SFA or Club decision?
  8. Agreed, but if the keeper takes the ball into hand, he's at liberty to run about the area basically for as long as he wants therefore wasting more time. If he has to play the ball with his feet, opposition players can at least apply some pressure making the keeper play the ball out. Just my opinion.
  9. What they should then outlaw is the keeper then being allowed to immediately catch, or pick the ball up. He should have to play it with his feet. They did it with pass backs, too easy for a defender to go down holding his head knowing that his keeper will ultimately be in possession with the ball in hand.
  10. Completely agree. I know Alex Samuel is a religious boy, but he took the Lazarus act too far today.
  11. Stewards too busy telling 6 year old they can't sit on a barrier
  12. Yeah he was limping as he went off. Picked up a calf knock at trying apparently
  13. They always have to be fair. Think we got away with the penalty shout Partick equalise
