    It could be. Might be.

Might also be a way to:

    - answer common themes of questions

    - keep a nice running order of those themes (rather than bouncing around subjects)

    - keep the session timely while getting through all the questions

    - allow the panel to construct their answers properly (hopefully not in a politician-type way, but answering questions properly without the pressure of thinking off the top of their head in front of a live crowd)

    - avoid the inevitable, awkward scenario of people not being particularly articulate with their questions

There’s pros to opening it up for questions on the night as well but given the above I’m not being totally cynical about their decision.

All very fair points, and I do agree with you. I think asking for questions in advance, and leaving a little time for Q&A at the end, is probably the happy medium for events like this.

  2. Anyone else going to the Q&A tomorrow night at the Morton Club? I have to admit, I find it odd that questions need to be submitted in advance of the evening, and that they wont be opening up for Q&A on the night. The cynic in me sees that as a way to filter questions that they don't want to answer, but alas I've submitted a questions via the link they provided on the email anyway.

    1000?? Seriously??

Aye it's a pain having the gantry in the cowshed, but every one of the 2k-2.5k who have showed up for our big games in the last couple of years will hopefully show up again for a potentia shock and into a quarter final.

Stand either side of the gantry, behind the goal or in the main stand, loads of space.

You might actually get a few local neutrals( bigot brothers)show up on the Friday night too.

Nothing better than a game under the lights at Cappielow, I'm buzzing for it.

The gantry doesn't help, but plenty of people can't make night time games for a load of reasons, and the away support will be significantly lower now due to being on the telly and being Friday night. The crowd will be a good bit lower than had it been a 3pm Saturday game, of that I have no doubt.

No, not Mahood (I was only a few yards away when that happened, heard it snap! Horrible) It was another wee winger, can`t remember his name.

Was really excited to see him back but had totally lost his edge, scared all the time. Shame.

    John Morrow?

  5. Delighted and slightly surprised that Strapp has extended his stay. When Waters cams back into the squad over the last few weeks I assumed Strapp would just move on as he clearly sees his future as somewhere higher in the food chain than the Championship. Maybe shows the commitment behind the scenes to really make a push at the play offs over the coming months.

Was going to edit this but as I have nothing better to do on a Monday evening, had a quick look at players we follow on Twitter and two that stood out were:

Jordan Davies of Connah's Quay in Wales, a striker who does have around 20-odd goals this season.

Daniel Martins, appears to be a centre back at Caley Braves (maybe for next season?)

Martins is a former youth player which is probably why we follow him. Not sure why we'd be following Davies though.

  7. I joined the queue at 2.45 and didn't get into the ground till 3 minutes after kick off. 2 more turnstiles is probably all that would be needed to resolve most of the issues faced with queuing IMO, and setting up individual queues for each turnstile I feel would also help. Hoping that a new GM in the door seeing these things at first hand will hopefully take it on board.

  8. While on commercial stuff, did anyone order the 97-99 retro away kit from that retro kit page on twitter? I only ask because it seems to have gone awful quiet on their twitter page, and see they're no longer showing as a sponsor of this site.

I wanted to try and order the 80s retro top they brought out and asked on twitter but there's been no reply.

  9. Popped into Smiths for a nosey and noticed that all the 150th anniversary merch is in store already. Every single item has been produced with the dot missing after the C in the FC on the crest. I pointed it out to the woman working there who I can only say looked stunned.
