  1. Though Garrity made an impact when he came on he was direct and positive. Bearne is clearly not fancied I don't see the logic in a two year deal if he is barely going to feature. Sounds like we are now back to the bare bones we didn't deal with it well before so will be interesting to see what happens now, I do think we maybe should have done a bit in January, to let players go and not get anyone in was strange okay the team was in a great run but a few I injuries and we now look poor. I genuinely have the fear for the cup game.
  2. That was a really tough watch. Route one all night up to Quitongo which just never worked even when Muirhead switched to up front we were still getting it straight back. No real game plan and don't even think their keeper had a save to make, if Oakley is out for a long period we really are fecked. I honestly have no clue why we decided to just launch the ball all day when it was clear their centre halfs strolled the game it's a piss poor game plan and persisting with it got us nowhere. If we play like that against Hearts they will rip us apart.
  3. Aye people like that can get in the sea and not come back. Best unbeaten run in however many years and one game lost and the toys go out the pram every team is going to lose at some point yes it was poor and we didn't derseve anything but it's far from oh well the season is fucked. Oakley is a massive miss but it's a kick up the arse to everyone else to realise that they all have a part to play and it's time to step up.
  4. Unbeaten run was always going to end but that was rank. Without Oakley we are poor much improvement needed for Tuesday night.
  5. If that's true that's a massive blow. Particularly Oakley without him we really struggle to score goals.
  6. I think money and people struggling has a lot to do with. Prices these days are crazy for everything and £22 most Saturdays without factoring in the cost of fuel or food a pint etc is a lot to ask people to shell out. However if we can't attract more people when we are now 16 games unbeaten and the most positive atmosphere around cappielow in probably about twenty years then its only going to get worse just over 2000 at a home game is about the standard and unless there is a good away support I can't see that changing.
  7. Squad rotation is going to be key the next month or so a lot of players have played a hell of a lot of minutes we dont want them burning out and being out for weeks due to it. You obviously don't want to change a team that is doing so well but it's going to be needed to avoid injuries. If Oakley is out for a few weeks you would think Muirhead would be up top and Garrity on the left, he is the natural option. It's very late in the day to get someone in but you can see how different a team we are without Oakley and that's the one position we are light in.
  8. Take a point, 16 games unbeaten keeps it going. Inverness on Saturday another massive game. Power MOTM for me bossed the midfield. Hopefully Oakley is fit for Saturday as we were pretty ineffective up top with Quitongo.
  9. The music on the Raith stream is utter garbage, even more reason to pump them.
  10. No Mullen or Oakley, MacDonald back after vanishing it seems. Good to see Muirhead back he loves a goal up there.
  11. That interview with Imrie is class you can tell he wants to rattle those clowns. Toughest fixture we have had in a while but the way we are playing no reason we can't get something, however if you offered me a point now I would take it.
  12. Aye Millens boy would be a good shout decent right back and experienced at this level. In regards to Quitongo personally I wouldn't be extending his contract. He has barely played the past few seasons due to injury and even though it was a good ball on Saturday more often than not he makes the wrong choice, yes pace and power he ticks the boxes but end product isn't there for me.
  13. The next 2-3 week are massive in terms of what will happen this season, playing all of the top three along with Inverness and the the cup game against Hearts, the whole squad is going to need to be used and let's hope Wilson and Muirhead arent anything long term injury wise.
  14. 2017 thought there might have been a bigger crowd. Again I thought the atmosphere was really flat other than a few games this season it's quite flat at cappielow considering how we are doing.
  15. Hopefully just cramp for the players who came off, changes were always going to happen with so many games in a short space of time.
  16. Shower of dirty bastards so much for us being the hammer throwers. Blues and Power outstanding, made hard work of it in the end but we got the three point that's the main thing. Another game unbeaten keep the run going. Referee was utter dung where he got the added time from I will never know.
  17. No great lost didn't rate him at all and he was barely getting a game so makes sense, it does free up a wage but I would imagine Dougie would be happy with the squad just now.
  18. Would be quite fitting if we did something special this season in the announcement of this. It's already been a cracker and let's hope come the end of the season it will go down as a very important one.
  19. That's an outstanding number, can tell things are going well long may it continue. I have met Dale and spoken with him and he is such a breath of fresh air for the club.
  20. Don't really see it as unprofessional it's just them thinking out the box a bit more for social media. It will just be funny as fuck when they don't get promoted, they looked rank last night despite winning with a screamer.
  21. Tough game but one we should be looking to get something from to keep the good run going. They have hit a bit of form and have added some experience so expect a completely different game from the last time we played them. Keep doing what we have the past month or so and no reason we can't get something.
  22. We were never going to really get a decent spot for this game. It doesn't effect me as I'm off that week the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but I imagine for a lot of people it's a shite one. There will still be a decent attendance hearts will bring large numbers and if people want to get there they will make it work.
  23. Aye McGeady has always been a wee fud that's a real shame he has went downhill and having such a tough time, horrible wee rodent of a guy.
  24. Much tougher task than Motherwell but cappielow with another performance like Friday night and you never know. Shankland will be a stick on to score. Hopefully the issues with the capacity get sorted before it. Hearts are not unbeatable.
