  1. Brilliant couple of days. Buzzing for this game tomorrow. So good to see the club being proactive and knowing we ware lookingto really build something that lasts more than 2 minutes
  2. Agree with this. Lewis has earned an opportunity like this so I hope it materialises for him and that we make a few quid to get a replacement in plus maybe 1/2 reinforcements. Added to the Celtic money and the higher placing we are on track to get - investing in this land we have acquired could really set us on a more secure footing for the seasons ahead.
  3. Hate Clyde but really like Duffy, maybe they can turn a new leaf now that Lennon is gone but I won't hold my breath. A very qualified good luck to him.
  4. Why? He's been terrible for years, has a lot of baggage and his choice of who to message is... questionable
  5. It felt like Efe was always due to end up here at some point in his career. If he signs then I think it probably confirms the reason we didn't sign a striker is cause there wasn't any good ones available to us.
  6. Surprised the boy Robbie Ure from Rangers isn't out on loan. Wouldn't mind him.
  7. Liam Grimshaw joins until January following release from Motherwell. https://www.gmfc.net/liam-grimshaw-joins-on-a-short-term-deal/
  8. If we don't get a striker in then the optimism of a few days ago is eroded for me. As fickle as that is.
  9. Didn't need him, we had Dykes, Dylan.
  10. Aye wasn't trying to be abrasive. Would rather Low than Lithgow thats for sure.
  11. I was of the understanding that Nicky wanted to come to Morton but Morton didn't want him. Even played in that game vs Man Utd youngsters. He would improve our team, thats reason enough.
  12. You never want to get carried away with Morton but if Dougie's new deal is followed by Low and a striker then it really would be a sensational couple of weeks.
  13. A good striker on loan (as in, one who scores 10+) and luck with fitness plus suspensions then we could keep ourselves in that safe no-mans land with the outside chance of 4th.
  14. We are a few injuries and suspensions away from not being able to field 11 players never mind a full bench.* *obviously more than a few but not exagerrated by as much as you'd hope.
  15. The crowd being around 1500 on Saturday for the first home game of the season even with the dry weather was a bad omen imo. Cove and Queens Park won't bring many fans, not that QotS did. Thee worsening cost of living crisis will continu to hurt hospitality and could take a few more off the gate (including away fans who don't want to pay increasing travel costs). Scottish football is, like many industries, at huge risk thanks to Tory Britain.
  16. No idea where to ask/post this - Are the players washing their own kits/training gear?
  17. That is the worst defending at a 'professional' level I've ever seen.
  18. Annoys me that Chris often sits with directors and that, might not annoy you but annoys me
  19. MSP hoardings aren't the same as political party hoardings. That party and Chris himself are too close to the club for my liking.
  20. If everyone who is moaning online actually bought the programme then perhaps it wouldn't be gone.
  21. Them getting bodied 4-1 at home from Clyde is a grim result
  22. I was hoping we would sign him when I saw he was released.
  23. I think we really need a striker as priority. Even if we got a player with the delivery of Nicky Cadden, we don't have anyone to put them away.
  24. Griffiths has been terrible for a while now and was on 1.5k at Falkirk where he achieved nothing. When trying to win over more fans, the worst thing MCT could do is sign someone who talks to 15yos on Instagram.
