  1. I didn't really see the arrogance other people saw in that video. I saw someone that's confident in his abilities but not comfortable in front of a camera answering questions. He looked to me like he had no idea what he was going to say before it came out of his mouth and was just trying to get through the interview by saying whatever came in to his head.
  2. Listen here you little shit, don't bring me down with you when someone's calling you a negative Nancy.
  3. Thought he came across alright and I didn't think he came across like he was faking that he still has confidence in his abilities to perform like you might see with someone with his fitness history. Hopefully gets a good pre season under his belt and can stay fit the majority of the season. If he can then I have a funny feeling that he may surprise some people.
  4. Ahh okay cheers. I can still hold out hope for the other Jack Hamilton then.
  5. Is there a limit to how many loans from Livingston we can have?
  6. Would be very happy with Kabia to be fair.
  7. Knew we shouldn't have paid Strapp 5k a week.
  8. Bit underwhelmed but I imagine Dougie knows him well from their Hamilton days and he needed a replacement for Wilson. I'd have been happy to sign him a few years ago and he's still only 30 so maybe he will be fine doing the job he's in the team to do.
  9. Dougie obviously saw enough in training to think he's worthy of a deal. If the information I heard after his release from QP is true then he was willing to join us for quite cheap if we were interested. If we can get a motivated and fit Quitongo who's using this opportunity to try get his career back on track without much financial risk to us then great.
  10. Tom Allan away to Gateshead in Vanorama National. Interested to see how he gets on at that level as he didn't seem ready for mens football at us.
  11. Wouldn't be surprised if Jai is in training with us as had heard when he was released from QP that he potentially wanted to come back. Happy enough for Dougie to take a look at him if so. QP fans seemed to say there was still a good player in there but he's too injury prone. If he is training and he impresses Dougie I'd be happy enough to give him a mostly incentive based contract. It would be too big a risk to waste a decent chunk of the wage budget on him.
  12. Seen someone on twitter saying its pronounced Schwockey. There's absolutely zero chance I'm calling him anything other than Brian Schwake as it's spelt.
  13. The glorious Brian Schwake announced as keeper signing. Had heard we were watching him during the playoffs and he was our back up plan for Hamilton potentially going to St Johnstone if they had went down. Edinburgh City fans seemed to like him.
  14. Delighted with this. Imagine it will be his last year with us so here's hoping its a successful one!
  15. Contracts run until 10th June I think so both sides were probably just keeping their options open.
  16. Queen of the South offered him a contract though and he's under the age threshold for compensation. Didn't realise he has only been at them for a year though, so not sure how that effects it.
  17. Rae is in a similar situation to Strapp that we'd need to pay compensation would we not?
  18. I see Mcentee dislocated his shoulder for Ireland last night. Shame for him.
  19. Realistically out of the still tbc I'd be extremely surprised if Hamilton and Ugwu stayed. Strapp might stay due to compensation rules unless he gets an offer from down South and Oliver is an unknown. He might have a better offer from a Queen of the South or something but don't think most fans would be bothered to lose him anyway. You've got to imagine that Dougie will have a new keeper in mind to replace Hamilton that we would get over the line quickly as last thing we want is for him to go elsewhere and we've been waiting on him signing.
  20. Muirhead announced on two year deal. Hope he really kicks on this season. Scored some big goals for us and had his own goal of the season competition second half of last season.
  21. The email states that once negotiations are agreed there would be another member vote on whether to sell to them and they'd be named. I'm not really seeing an issue with that? My only issue with them not being named was that we'd be agreeing to sell to people we didn't know and we'd have no opportunity to reject it when we did find out.
  22. Seen a few multi year deals from clubs around our level compared to usual years. . Wouldn't surprise me if managers are leveraging job security over wage in order to fit enough budget to add further players to squad or to allow them in Imrie's case to offer people like Strapp or Hamilton that bit extra to try convince them to stay.
  23. Cheers bud. Still, since the Rae era until now it would be interesting to see who's our top scorer over that period using only seasons we were in the second tier. I have a scary feeling Bob Mchugh would be quite close to the top.
  24. That we never seem to have high scoring players over the years. Wasn't expecting anyone to take it literally my apologies.
