  1. Counterpoint, it is probably not a good idea to cover a medium term injury by bringing in a player who isn't long back from a long term injury. Recipe for more more physio bills and wages for no benefit on the pitch.

  2. Would be nice, highly unlikely though. Probably financially irresponsible but also difficult to convince any striker to come into a club that already has 2 proven quantities up top. Any young premiership striker that’s genuinely rated by their club won’t be allowed to come play 3rd fiddle either. It would’ve been the perfect Cameron Keay role…

  3. The last few games have shown me that we could probably do with another option up front, if we could possibly find a loan to supplement Main and Brophy. As soon as we've made subs, or in Saturday's case been missing Brophy altogether, we've struggled to keep the Murray game plan going.

  4. We do have a pretty nasty run of fixtures coming up after Airdrie. A six game run where the three home games are against the top three with the three away games being Ayr, Raith and Dunfermline. League results have still been good under Murray despite yesterday, 8 points from 5 is solid and gives you confidence that we can win a couple of those. If we pick up points at the same rate and take 16 from the remaining 10 games that'll be really good and enough to see us comfortably somewhere between 5th-7th, but we could really do with a win over Airdrie now to build a huge gap between us and them before hitting that run of games.
