Pronounced "weems" there are three places with this name - near Aberfeldy in Perthshire, in Inverclyde and on the coast of Fife.

More than 3 - Fife has "East Wemyss" and "Coaltown of Wemyss".

Wemyss - wims

Bogston - "Duck!"

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Some other useless info from another site ..

Wemyss

Pronounced "weems" there are three places with this name - near Aberfeldy in Perthshire, in Inverclyde and on the coast of Fife. The name is derived from the Gaelic "uaimh" meaning "cave" and it has been incorporated into other Scottish placenames such as Pittenweem (also in Fife).

Correct.

My missus has lived in the area all her life and it's definitely weems bay.

I think I know who you might be and who you hung about with and if I am correct I wouldn´t take gospel from those folks.... they couldn´t speak half the time .... TL has a magic way with the brain´s motor functions !!! LOL.

I hung about down there from around 87-88 untill 91-92 maybe and for the record it was ole english cider that was the tipple back then not TL :P

Anyway I jumped about with Eggy, Pears, John McLean Big Andy Leighton (Scooter boys) as well as a few other lads as well.
