Went in to buy the new album by The Shins, but was way-laid by his charsimatic charms, had a look at The Smiths vinyl, decided I really didn't want to pay £25 for a compilation album that has nothing original on it, and got the train down to Greenock. It's not bad, but nothing stands out like the opening track. Been listening to the new Richard Hawley album. A bit upbeat for him, but very well crafted songs beautifully delivered.
