Boozehound
Stone Roses - Elephant Stone I still remember the elation I felt when I managed to nail that song on the guitar after spending about a week solid practicing. Good times. An internet fud is still a fud.

Do you play in a band? Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
Boozehound
Hmm. Do you play in a band? Nope, unfortunately I'm neither good enough (haven't touched my guitars in getting on for two years ) or cool enough to be in a band. I was in my school band although that was not cool. Might get back into it but back in the day I had loads of spare time that I don't really have anymore. An internet fud is still a fud.

Weird. My very first band covered elephant Stone when we were in school. We were pretty good at it too. Loved playing it. Went to see a band who were made up of friends of friends a few times at Ricos and it was mostly Roses stuff they covered. Well them and Oasis who were too cool for school at the time. Well them and Oasis who were too cool for school at the time. We were pretty much an oasis coverband while in school and then the guitarist began writing his own tunes. Back on topic just listened to Tell Me by the roses. Awesome track.
