I thought you were a young scamp.

From 1969 I give you Keith Emerson's take on this choon.

The jazz piano is superb

Clicky

Haven't heard The Nice's version before, sounds good, especially when when the bass kicks in around the 2 minute mark :)

Feck me Tom, that's what I was gonnae say. Love the "Low" album and Television. Though I suspect Mr. X has great taste in music, rather than having actually been there, like us. :(

Edit to add, currently listening to The Byrds - Younger Than Yesterday.

Always been my favourite Byrds albums, I'll be really jealous if you were around while that was released, though I suspect you're not THAT old! :P

Unfortunately I was around when that was released and, aye, I AM THAT OLD. :(

Released the day before my 4th birthday, I don't remember it being released or anything(looked the release date up), however, I do remember my folks playing the album when I was a kid.

I was weened on a strict diet of Stones, Beatles and Dylan by my folks, so I'm trying to do the same with my son by playing the Roses first album at least once a day for him

Sing Your Life - Morrissey

Here, There and Everywhere - The Beatles

Fourth Time Around - Bob Dylan

Breathless - Nick Cave

Numb As A Statue - Warren Zevon

Proud of you mate, indoctrinate them early doors, though as you know my favourite band are The Smiths/Morrissey, yet the fruit of my loins is a big Oasis / Roses fan. Though, I will take that anyday over that techno s***e.

Me and Mrs. cT, currently listening to, The Sundays - Static and Silence. Harriet Wheeler, the second, or third greatest female voice in "Indie" pop music ever and easily the MOST attractive, if you don't believe me google images of her, stunning.
