Tyrannous
You've obviously never paid attention to Morrissey's lyrics then, and I think you'll find I have quite a varied taste in music! A varied taste of two bands that are arguebly the same genre!?....Although at completely different ends of the good and bad scale, Morrissey coming somewhere inbetween aids and leprosy. Tyrannous
Aye, very good. When did Paul Weller become a band anyway? Albeit, he's regarded as a solo artist he does have a band and sang in one just a touch superiour to The Smiths. Surely if you listen to Paul Weller, you listen to The Jam?....or will three sink the boat?

Apart from The New York Dolls and Motorhead, the rest is Indie/Britpop or a mild variation of another - I chose to cheat and say its all a form of Rock. The Jam > The Smiths. Tyrannous
It's certainly pish. He is a disgrace to Alternative Rock, which is on the whole the best music genre - despite its shame.
