Heh..I was watching that tonight as well, talented girl.

Watched some of that too, had to switch over before I fell asleep ... dull as dishwater IMO. Wasn't impressed with her first album and watching this gig never changed my mind on her. Since Amy Winehouse's success (not that Peyroux sounds anything like AW) there has been a glut of these mediocre female singers/songwriters crawling out the woodwork... the majority should consider going back to being housewifes.

Got the Neil Young documentary sky+ed from last night, so will give that a go today.

Laura Marling - Ghosts (IMO one of the better female singer/songwriters around today)

The Close Lobsters - Just Too Bloody Stupid

The Rolling Stones - We Love You

Beck - Debra

Jens Lekman - Black Cab

Some people never go crazy, what truly horrible lifes they must live - Charles Bukowski

Look at her riding pillions on Davy’s sea-bike, carrying an apoplectic macaw in a silver hoop. Oh, Morton, let’s go there this winter!  Or learning the Japanese chinchona from that Kobe group, in a dress that looks like a blowtorch rising from one knee, and which should sell big in Texas. Morton, is that real fire? Happy, happy little girl!
