dougir Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Delighted for the lads to get some further experience at a higher level. Hoping to see them in the hoops again in the future.
Popular Post Jack Bauer Posted September 7 Popular Post Posted September 7 I think its a mistake loaning Dean Black out. He should be in squad of players able to play -probably from the bench - on a matchday. 3 Power To The Powerless, Strength Unto The Weak!
so72 Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 Very surprised Black is heading out at all, never mind all the way down to the Lowland League.
Popular Post port-ton Posted September 7 Popular Post Posted September 7 We can call cooperation loans back whenever we want can we not? I remember Hearts calling Forrester back from St Johnstone last season and then sending him back later. If that’s the case then letting those players get game time in men’s football can only be a good thing, and if Black or Murphy are ever needed back then we can get them back whenever we need them. 6 Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Can train with us most days seeing as he has left school, can be brought in and out at will if we need him for a squad, game time down there if we don't. Pretty much the whole point of doing it as a coop. Edited September 7 by Jamie_M 4

Because he's an inexperienced 16 year old kid with limited chance of regular game time higher up the foodchain.

So how exactly should a supposedly professional, supposedly full-time and supposedly well-coached first team integrate him into the squad on a matchday? 2 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
2bobbylinns Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Some of these boys aren’t old enough to drive yet. Renfrew is an easy place for them to get to independently while still training and potentially playing for the club. It will provide great experience in a tough league for them. 2
TRVMP Posted September 19 Posted September 19 (edited) The Dirty Wee Frew pulled off a 3-1 upset at Pollok today to record their first win of the season, with Louie Murphy appearing for 33 minutes, and Joey O'Toole and Dean Black both coming on in the 77th. Bob McHugh was a used sub for the hosts. Edited September 19 by TRVMP 1 Morton
