I also have a problem with this. Regardless of the club being skint or whatever, it would be good if someone could nudge Murray about the language he uses in interviews. If he thinks he can't succeed at the job then he should resign from it. He's actively going to turn folk away from the gates before they even see the football to moan about it.

Even at the nadir of the McPherson era the vibe from the dugout wasn't this bad, not even close. He's acting as though we're Sheffield Wednesday and we're 20 points down already or something, or he's being forced to play an under 19 squad. We're all keenly aware of the limitations we're under but he's blowing them massively out of proportion. There's no existential crisis at the club that makes losing at home to an LL side acceptable. Nor is conceding two in two minutes to a League One side anything other than a basic failure to build and coach a first team. Do we think East Fife are swimming in cash and can build a dynasty like they're Bayern or something? No, they're a bang average but well-managed small outfit who understand the assignment.

He's absolutely got to go. It's untenable to let this go on any longer. No minerals.

Two goals conceded in two minutes.
This season is going to be great fun.

Fresh stain on the floor when I moved in. He may have checked out short of a useful amount of blood.

If he is still manager of the club next week then the whole board need to go as well.

TTG

It was TTG after the game at Dingwall. He can't be there when we start the league.

Could we hold off with tnis stuff until East Fife score a 3rd/4th goal?

It’s only a matter of time. I wanted him emptied after the Airdrie game, but alas…

Our summer signings this year:

Clyde (2nd choice goalkeeper), Eastbourne Fucking Borough, East Kilbride, Montrose, Arbroath, Jersey Bulls.

On top of re-signing the likes of O’Halloran, Longridge, Gillespie - is it a surprise that we’re struggling.

Mid table League 1 team at absolute best. Unless something drastic happens or some excellent signings, then we’re going to be rivalling Brechin’s season in this league 10 years or so ago.

Brechin managed to maintain a well manicured hedge in addition to their pitch, we've got improvements to make before we can even match them on one of those.

And it obviously wasn't just me reading too much into it. We were defeated before we started. Something seems really off, recruitment has gone horribly so far but the attitude seems to just be digging us deeper into that hole.

Our squad is lacking in quality and underprepared. We cannot claim to be blameless in that and try to hide behind it as if it's a shield.

I've been seriously underwhelmed by players we've signed and re-signed, but people have put together caveats to try to make them ok (cheap option, backup, option off the bench, got potential, etc.). It's usually wise to not judge too early, and I've been trying to stay quiet about it, but it looks bad.

We need at least a goalkeeper, left back, centre back, winger and to hope that some of the signings are better than we fear (and Savoury not being injured all season). And it doesn't feel like any of those things are on the way.

It's apparent that deflecting blame for this mess in the hope of salvaging any of his reputation once he's inevitably sacked is more important to Murray to actually trying to do anything to avoid the mess in the first place. Any excuse he can give that makes it someone else's fault will be trotted out.

He can't get more out of players than the sum of their parts, he can't set a team up to shitfest to grind results out, he can't recruit to address the weaknesses and he can't acknowledge any of those facts. It's simply impossible for this to get better until he goes.

This can't be defended. As said other day don't normally pay much attention to league cup games but how can you be optimistic about the season when lose 2 easier games in the group.

There is no defence for Murray staying in job anymore I am out of patience with him
