Stevie Aitken's Love Child Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Well that wasn't great. Showed a real lack of sharpness early on in the half - it's obvious we've only played one friendly. Very one dimensional but we should have went on front, not sure who got on front of Sandilands shot. They'll feel aggrieved not to be in front, hitting the post and a big shout for a penalty that looked a dive from where I was standing. Need to add some pace to proceedings, expect to see McLuckie and Garrity on fairly early in the half.

Total boys club stuff. The pitch is a state. Far too long and it looks from what I could see we have enlisted the council's services to cut it. It was far too long today and looked like it was cut by stevie wonder. The communal area of the shed is a mess; we still have posters up with kirk fucking broadfoot on it. Small details maybe, but it just screams amateur. We look woefully under prepared on the pitch and the squad being assembled doesn't look anywhere near good enough. It's going to be a long, long season, but we're repeatedly being told that before a competitive ball was even kicked. 8 TIME FOR CHANGE!

Weeds growing in the sinclair street toilet as well. Along with the squinty lines on the park with patches of dying grass, it feels like lots of things about the club are being neglected. Out played & out thought against a lowland league club, we were really fortunate that was only 1 today. Pitch is also terrible as @TONofmemories mentioned far too long & ball kept getting stuck it spots. Found it also amateurish last week that they announced last week less than an hour before kick off that there was an issue with a section of the pitch. same old pish year on year. 1
