dunning1874 Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Livingston will be spending a fortune this season, they're now owned by Henry Ford's great-great grandson who has not been shy in talking about spending. Still need to appoint a manager of course so hopefully it could all implode like Ross County did, but on budget alone you'd put them among the early favourites. We know Dunfermline are also throwing stupid money around while it would be nice if Partick's bubble finally popped. I still think we really needed the latter to happen over the last season though, there's a reasonable chance they'll actually have made a profit for the first time since relegation this season, but they will have something of a minor rebuild required with Stanway, Chalmers and Fitzpatrick likely away. Dunfermline will likely need a rebuild too with a lot of players out of contract so hopefully there's room for a big spending implosion in there. It's both though, as he's not going to be playing there for anything other than a hefty wage (one that Inverness - surprise! - won't be able to actually afford). That a section of our fanbase still hold a candlelit vigil for An Ambitious Backer after our last white knight threw their toys out of the pram and demanded that total duds like Laird be imposed on the club indefinitely is a separate category of fail. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. DaftTon74 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Yeah I really enjoyed the documentary. It is lovely watching it knowing that they don’t go up too which adds to the joy. I didn’t actually realise how bad they were that season, they had so many poor results and still scraped into 4th. As expected, Brian Graham comes across a total fud and have seen a few partick fans saying this too. It is worth watching just for the scenes in Dingwall alone.

An overnight stay in Inverness on Friday to avoid a clash with a Scotland away game on the Saturday however? Very much appreciated. We're obviously cutting our cloth this season after wasting a lot of money but I'd say the league looks weaker overall.

Seen something a while back lesser hampden was going to be used as base for celtic/rangers & glasgow city as a shared facility. This would have been sold for the exact blackhole that Haughey was leaving. 2
