Mr.Blue Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) Murray saying in his pre match that Garrity is fit as is storer. Brophy and McPherson missing through injury and Gills is suspended. Also stated that the players with the jerseys have it in their hands. With that I'm assuming we will go with the same starting 11 as we did against Arbroath. Given Murray's previous line ups I'm assuming O'Halloran will come in and we'll see one of Moffat, O'Halloran or Shaw play in the 10 with the other two on the wings. Being away from home I wouldn't be against Taylor or Lyall starting in a midfield three. Johnson Comrie Moore Owens Delaney Blues Shug Moffat. O'Halloran Shaw Main Subs - Storer, Ballantyne, Lopata White, Longridge, Crawford, Taylor, Lyall, Murphy Garrity. A win take us to a point behind our opponents tomorrow albeit they have 2 games in hand. We played them off the park last time out and no reason why we can't do it again. 2-1 Ton. Main and Blues. Edited April 3 by Mr.Blue There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

I thought O'Halloran was very poor when he come on last week and that it totally wrecked the balance of the team. Would rather Lyall came in
RossMcC1874 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Would be bringing Storer back if he is fit even though Johnson was good last week still not overly comfortable with him in goal. Is there any update on what injury Brophy has think thats been like 3 months without him.
Ferguson Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Although O’Halloran was off the boil last week, he was outstanding for Murray’s first few games before he got injured. If Murray sees him fit after another week’s training then I’m not against it. Probably the first time since he arrived that I’d be pleased to see Shaw starting as well, his work rate off the ball was actually quite good against Arbroath. More than capable of winning this today, but a point would be welcome.

His last game was when we beat Dunfermline 2-0 on 17th February, went off injured after about an hour but can't remember what type of injury it was.

Mr.Blue Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Surprised Longridge and Garrity are starting but that looks like a strong team. Shaw playing off Main? There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come
arthurmontfordsjacket Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Just about deserved after Moore nearly played them in.
Stevie Aitken's Love Child Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Lovely finish from Blues, somewhat against the run of play given the spell they had prior to us scoring, but we've looked dangerous on the attach a few times, Moffat in particular should have scored when played through on right right hand side. Got to be happy with that. 1
Mr.Blue Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Two quick fire goals and we're losing 2-1. Shite. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come
AyrshireTon Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Partick score so we go 3-1 down and yet climb up one place. Fresh stain on the floor when I moved in. He may have checked out short of a useful amount of blood.
Jani Inenuot Posted April 4 Posted April 4 It's unfortunate that we need to play two halves because Murray is undefeated in first half-only league football.
DaftTon74 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Not much to say about that tbh, other than it was pretty shit. Dunfermline very comfortable.
RossMcC1874 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Could have been a lot more than 3-1 lucky to get away with that. The league is still so tight now 4 teams on 36 points. 4 games left to hopefully finish as high up as we can.
Drew Busby's Moustache Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Getting caught cold like that immediately after HT is unforgivable for players at this level.

Going into the second half, 1-0 up and away from home the manager and players know that the opposition are going to come out all guns blazing. Not good enough. 1 There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come
ConTon74 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 1st half we definitely rode our luck a few times but also had chances ourself & it was a good finish from blues. 2nd half we just never got going at all. The 2 quick fire goals really killed us & we just never recovered. 3rd goal I thought they got a wee bit of fortune about it but nevertheless the defensive display in that 2nd half was honking. 4 massive games to go think it’s going to go right down to the final game
