RossMcC1874 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 After the shambles last week it's fair to say that our form has been rather pish the last month or two and thats putting it mildly. Arbroath are a side who know how to grind out wins having said that our form against them this season isn't bad. I honestly would take a point right now, but if we play anything like the shambles last week another defeat is on the cards. The wind may play a factor here as it normally does up there, already have the absolute fear as soon as they get their first corner. Going for 1-1 no idea why.
CM48 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I know it sounds like a cliche but those conditions will make it a bit of a lottery I reckon. Fingers crossed the luck swings our way. Spare a thought for the camera operators, especially if the rain comes on.

so72 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Wilson at cb then for Moore? We desperately need a couple players in asap.
AyrshireTon Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Dreading turning my telly on for this one. 2 Fresh stain on the floor when I moved in. He may have checked out short of a useful amount of blood.
vikingTON Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Will need to take advantage of the wind being mostly at our back, as the second half will be a different issue altogether. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
CM48 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Think we’ll need at least 2 goals before half time. The 2nd half is going to be torture…
Rossco Posted January 23 Posted January 23 (edited) Concerned not scoring in this first half and Storer kicking in 2nd half against this wind Edited January 23 by Rossco
DumfriesTon Posted January 23 Posted January 23 This is a perfect example of how not to play with the wind with you. No urgency with corners or free kicks and one shot in 32 minutes.
Dolan1874 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Why on earth are we persisting with Lyall taking set pieces from the right side? Clearly it isn't working and it has to be an inswinger. How can the manager not see this?
Pedrodelawasp Posted January 23 Posted January 23 We should be shooting every chance we get and see if the wind does us any favours. Will be against it 2nd half and would rather defend a lead than go searching for something

GiGi Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Can we not just shoot from anywhere within 40 yards of goal with this advantage instead of fucking about trying to play it into the box? Arbroath are going to do exactly that to us. Absolutely hopeless. 1 Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
