Early to do a match thread but why not.

For some strange reason I am quite confident for tomorrow no idea why.

Would like to see Ballantyne come back I think it was harsh to drop him and I dont think Comrie has come in and been amazing.

Garrity is positive on the ball and I think we need that going forward Would give him a start and bring in Lyall we need creativity and he gives us something different in there.

Not seen the matchday programme yet on YouTube so there might be injuries which could change things but we need to be at it from the start and actually start winning.

Easier said than done.

Garrity did nothing in our last home game, Moffat came on and was much better. Moffat started last week and was anonymous, so...

Imrie talked about a lack of quality service from wide players to the front two, but this is hitting a head against a brick wall territory. All the wide players put together likely struggled to break much more than 10 assists last season and with fewer goals: this lack of quality was entirely foreseeable then. It doesn't ultimately matter which ones play and which don't - it is guaranteeing mediocrity at best.

We need to change what type of service the forwards are relying on: Control the middle of the park and play the final ball from there, and it is not acceptable to just abandon this since Ali Crawford got injured while we have a glut of central midfielders on the books too.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Don't recall losing interest in a season this early before. Been so many uninspiring performances. Hopefully we can put out something that changes that tomorrow but struggling to see myself parting with £22 all that often between now and Christmas at this rate.

Missing 4 players for the game according to Dougies interview. O'Halloran and Crawford who we know about. Kian Taylor has done his ankle and will be out for a few months which is a shame as he looked good when he came in last week. The biggest concern for me is Jacko missing with a hamstring injury. Have to assume Moore will come back in a centre back although that leaves us without a left footed CB.

Storer

Comrie Corr Moore Ballantyne

Shug

Moffat Robertson Lyall Garrity

Adeloye or Brophy

Delaney and McPherson will definitely start so wishful thinking in my part with this team.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

I was quietly confident about this fixture before the squad news came out. Longridge being out is a huge blow too. I wonder who will be captain today also with him being out?

Delaney needs dropped too.

Bluesy or Wilson I would imagine.

I've been worried that he'll drop Blues and Wilson after taking them off last week. I think Blues is the other one that wore the armband recently - not sure if Wilson has.

It does feel like there is a lack of candidates for the role in a pretty big squad.

Dunfermline at home/Broadfoot defending levels of embarrassment.

This is abysmal.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

I don’t have the analytical eye or language that some on here but as far as I can see every single one of their players is way better than every single one of ours. Just watched dozens of people leave the cowshed straight after that 3rd goal.
And as I type the 4th goes in and the place feels empty.

Given the Chairman’s comments about how shite our draws were earlier in the season, I can only imagine his thoughts on the current situation. I’d hate to see it but wouldn’t be surprised if Imrie only has a few more games to turn this around given how much has been “invested” this season.
He’s gotten us out a hole before, but we seem to have no idea what we’re doing and seem hellbent on praising utter shite individual performances week in, week out.

Carving us up and we have no idea how to go forward.

This could be anything by full time.
