The message to the players should be that collectively they simply haven't been good enough and need to improve to start winning games; if they're being allowed to delude themselves into thinking they're playing well and it's only luck that's keeping them from winning, it's more difficult to see that improvement coming any time soon. Probably feels he has to put a positive spin on it when the chairman is publicly saying draws aren't any good. TIME FOR CHANGE!
