LargsTON Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Anyone managed to find a stream for this? "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

GiGi Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Should have been 2 up, let off a couple of times after. Worth a lead I reckon. 1 Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
Chicken_Soup Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Another week another honking refereeing decision against us, that was a blatant pen. Playing well so far, Ali Crawford has been brilliant. Don’t want the game being this open if it’s still 1-0 heading into the final stages though.

GiGi Posted August 9 Posted August 9 That never looked a penalty. Can't think what that's for because the ball was cleanly poked out for a corner. Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
DumfriesTon Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Stonewall penalty for us for the most blatant two-handed shove on Adeloye, whilst they get an absolutely scandalous decision where Longridge literally pokes the ball out for a corner. The referee couldn’t wait to give it. Robbed as they offered fuck all.
ConTon74 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Draw probably a fair result in the end up. Game seemed to spring into life after Crawfords goal & we were unlucky not to be a few ahead soon after with Delaney & Moore going close. Partick also going close with Chalmers’ effort off the post then one flashed across the face of goal. 2nd half was pretty much a non event & a dubious penalty decision going against us (surprise) would need to see it again but from my point of view Longridge came together with the attacker & poked the ball out for a corner. Ref couldn’t have blown any quicker for a penalty. Will take a point with Scott Brown’s promotionchasing Ayr United to visit Cappielow in a fortnight
GiGi Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Can't just keep 'taking a point'. Win your home games. 1 Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

Agreed, this 'happy to take a take a point' attitude against the likes of Partick and Ayr does my nut in. If we average only 1 point a game, we'll be in a relegation battle. 1 1
vikingTON Posted August 9 Posted August 9 5 minutes ago, GiGi said: Can't just keep 'taking a point'. Win your home games. It wasn't one. Mostly encouraging performance, the degree of threat posed (especially first half) was night and day compared to last week. The turning point for me was not the penalty but rather the two attempts off the woodwork - if we had gone 0-2 up, things could have easily unravelled for them off the back of last week's shocker too. Crawford showed real quality today though both Wilson and Ballantyne (improved later) were off it by their own standard of consistency. Getting a draw under those conditions is fine. We still need an upgrade in defence though. That system is worth running with and greater cohesion/intuitive link ups will come to some degree with game time. It gets more of our best players on the park, with genuinely different options off the bench too if the front two are tiring. 6 minutes ago, Cet Homme Charmant said: Agreed, this 'happy to take a take a point' attitude against the likes of Partick and Ayr does my nut in. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
Popular Post DumfriesTon Posted August 9 Popular Post Posted August 9 Very impressed with Kris Moore again. Aggressive, quick and reads the game well. 3
