Not meant as criticism of Lilley, just how the currency within Scottish football media usually operates. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

SassenachTon Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 Glorious to see the entitled boos and immediate calls for Nancy’s sacking after his first game. Pleasing.

Popular Post Toby Posted December 27, 2025 Popular Post Posted December 27, 2025 Former Morton player and Manager Douglas Imrie loses a football match in December for the first time in his managerial career as big-spending Raith Rovers are felled by county cousins Dunfermline Athletic. The big-spending Fifers are expected to respond in the way they know best, by opening the purse strings and investing heavily in their expensively-assembled squad as the January transfer window approaches. 4

After seeing that result I was interested to see how their fan base reacted. They seem to be relatively content as apparently they had a lot of players missing and they made a fist of it in the second half. Time will tell but I don't think Imrie will get the time or good grace he was afforded here. As you said I'm sure they'll get the war chest opened and address any issues in January. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

Roger McQueen Posted January 3 Posted January 3 (edited) Probably snaked them for a move to Banks O'Dee. Guy can't seem to maintain a role or show any form of loyalty. Edited January 3 by Roger McQueen
