Dave McPherson was in the 1990 squad, think he played in the 3 matches

EDIT - on second thoughts you probably mean ex-Morton at time he's picked for squad so that rules McPherson out, Jordan it is.

Yeah exactly. If it's someone who previously played in the WC then Efe Ambrose is more recent.

Efe Ambrose appears to have signed for Port Glasgow Juniors.

Fresh stain on the floor when I moved in. He may have checked out short of a useful amount of blood.

He has not signed! He was just visiting the facilities at a recent game

Looks like some has seen a photo opportunity and stuck a tracksuit top and a "Port Shed Boys" hat on him.

Oh well, as you were.

Anyone know if Cameron Keay is playing at any level now ?. Such a shame if it’s over before ever really  getting started.

He's doing some coaching with kids. ProScore Academy.

Thanks. Hoping that we would possibly offer him something to get him back. Or has that unfortunately sailed

Honking. He’s a kid himself. How’s he not got a club?

He can't sign elsewhere professionally without that club paying us compensation, and the club are right not to back down and write off money we're owed just to be nice.

He's been terribly advised by his agent in thinking he was good enough to turn down a deal from Morton and have a queue of clubs willing to pay what we're owed and now he's in limbo. You'd think Scott McLaughlin might have learned something about players mistakenly thinking they were too good for Morton, but evidently not.

Yup - hence the Lowland League suggestion above and Hamilton who were pretending players were amateurs.

The daft thing is, signing on again wouldn't have likely hindered any chance of a move. Currrently - needs to find a club willing to part with £50k. Had he signed on, Morton would likely have still dealt at £50k but he'd be in a squad, in the shop window with a chance of game time or at worst a loan deal for game time if needed.

As much as he never impressed i don't think he was ever given a run of games at centre forward or given any kind of decent service.

He was a tidy player and couldn't be faulted for effort, but it looked like the switch to full time football just came a bit late in his career.

A shame to see a talented guy not make the grade physically but that was the gamble we were taking.

Ricki Lamie finally realises that hanging around waiting for Hamilton to sort their shit out is a lost cause.

Seems bonkers to me to turn down full-time offers in favour of a team that’s banned from signing players, but fair enough.

Is he worth a punt for us? Hart will almost certainly be away in January, and he could come in at CH allowing Longridge to move out one to the left.
