Roger McQueen Posted October 26 Posted October 26 The Shankland we had, in comparison to the one who scores 20 - 30 a season in the Premiership, clearly not the same person. It must have been his fatter and less interested twin.
GiGi Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Shankland looked back to being overweight and finished last season too. He looks in slimmer condition now. Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

gmfc_craig Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Baller League returns tonight. Not on Sky Sports this year but available on YouTube I believe and big JET will be playing for M7 FC and Kazaiah Stirling playing for SDS FC. Few other recognisable names involved too... Calum Butcher, Ciaran Clark, Henri Lansbury, Alex Dyer, Joleon Lescott, Martyn Waghorn, Nile Ranger, Brandon Barker

He was one I always thought would be a good appointment before the shit show at Dunfermline. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

Get rid of Imrie and bring Tidser in. Real improvements. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come
TRVMP Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Not a chance Tidser could hack it at a full time club. Kelty was fine, low expectations, decent squad. Any team with meaningful stakes or fans that don't blink one eye at a time just put too much pressure on him. Nice enough guy but never a pro manager.
Roger McQueen Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Whitletts Victoria announce Brian Reid as new manager
AyrshireTon Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Nacho Novo is the new Darvel manager. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

TRVMP Posted November 18 Posted November 18 (edited) Former Morton ace Lawrence "The Larry" Shankland scores for Scotland as they go 2-1 up against Scandinavian minnows Denmark in a must-win World Cup qualifying tie. (Although Scotland concede right after.) Edited November 18 by TRVMP
TRVMP Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Assuming the squad we aexpect, Shankland will go to the World Cup next summer, the first ex-Morton player to do so since Kabba Modou-Cham of Belgium. (Nah not really, it would be Joe Jordan in 1982, wouldn't it?) 1

Dave McPherson was in the 1990 squad, think he played in the 3 matches EDIT - on second thoughts you probably mean ex-Morton at time he's picked for squad so that rules McPherson out, Jordan it is.
