Stevie Aitken's Love Child Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 Lamie would have been an ideal signing to add some experience at the back, as a direct replacement for Baird. 1
Scott Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 As much as I rated Lamie when he was with us, I thought he looked very poor against us last season. Maybe injuries have caught up with him.Â

Popular Post Toby Posted June 27, 2025 Popular Post Posted June 27, 2025 Maybe it’s time we let go of Lamie. He was great while he was here, but time to move on. 6
bob_the_builder Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 Tumilty, Baird and Boyes all start for St Johnstone and are currently 1-0 down to East Kilbride lol here today, gone to hell

TRVMP Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 In the big Snake Derby at Glebe Park, home of (editor, check division) "Highland Football League" minnows Brechin City, Ray "Raymond" McKinnon's outfit were battered 7-0 by his former club, Falkirk. Morton
mcintyre_gmfc Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 Colin Stewart joins Liverpool as assistant goalkeeping coach, he will also oversee the loan strategy for players coming through their ranks. Really good move for him. 1

Things go from bad to worse for our scaly friend as another of his former clubs, Queen's Park, are four goals to the good against Brechin with half an hour of embarrassment still remaining. 1 1 Morton
Greacen2000 Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 Reece Lyon scores a hat-trick for Queen of the south against Edinburgh City

TONofmemories Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 The JET has issued an apology to Morton on his Instagram, wishing to right his wrong.. TIME FOR CHANGE!
DaftTon74 Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Probably in the minority here but wouldn’t be against bringing him back on a short term deal on a very low wage if he is willing and pledging to right his wrong. There are worse options out there to have when 1-0 down and needing a goal and offers a different outlook. Looks like he has shifted a lot of weight too judging by his recent social media post.  Can’t see it happening but you never know with Morton.
Popular Post dunning1874 Posted July 16, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2025 He made five starts & one sub appearance and we only scored twice with him on the park, both of which came from set-pieces. Quite apart from any non-footballing argument about the optics of bringing him back, he was finished as a player and completely neutered us as an attacking threat just by being there, which is why we literally never scored from open play with him in the team. 3 Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake Â

Greacen2000 Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Even if fully fit I don’t think he would offer much to the team.  It’s 10 years since he has been in any way prolific in terms of goal return.  And as Dunning says above i don’t think the optics would be very good. Fair play to him for coming out and saying this.  I hope he gets his life back on track and gets a chance somewhere - just not here.
Ferguson Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Nice words, hopefully he can get his life back on track now. Don't think there’s much of a discussion to be had over his return though. Aside from the obvious, he just wasn’t very good for us. We were full of energy on and off the ball last night and he can contribute nothing towards that. I’d sooner be asking the question to his replacement, Stuparevic, if he’s anywhere near returning to the pitch. 2

Stuparevic and Adeloye as attacking options would work very well with Mckay as the 3rd option. Still out injured though according to Motherwell fans so guessing he won't be back anytime soon.
