I suspect that a game involving one of the Old Firm will be al shown on one of their main channels at lunchtime on Saturday and another on Sunday. If this is the case, and according to Dunning who told me earlier, Aberdeen don’t play the Thursday prior, they’ll want a Saturday game to give them time before their Europa League play-off the following Thursday. Assuming the SPFL accommodate them, I suspect we’re looking at 5.30pm on the Saturday. Which would be absolute scenes. TIME FOR CHANGE!
Rossco Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Last 2 cup games against Aberdeen at Cappielow have gone to extra time. 1996 7-3 game & 2012 which finished 0-0 & then went to extra time where we lost 2-0 Perfect time to play Aberdeen at this stage of the season imo looking forward to it.

However, last season was the same every game was either streamed or televised on the premier sports channel. The streamed games were Aberdeen, Dundee, Spartans all Saturday 3pm & Dundee United, Motherwell were streamed at 2pm Sunday. Also, have they not been streaming games at 3pm throughout the group stages anyway? 1

There are exceptions to the rules, such as international weekends and the close season, which July (and hence the group stages) is interpreted as. I can’t understand why they’d get away with streaming Saturday 3pm games when the season’s well and truly kicked off, though. 1
