Every game of the knockout stages is “televised” either on Premier Sports or through their streaming platform, which should mean that there’ll be no 3pm kick offs.

I suspect that a game involving one of the Old Firm will be al shown on one of their main channels at lunchtime on Saturday and another on Sunday.

If this is the case, and according to Dunning who told me earlier, Aberdeen don’t play the Thursday prior, they’ll want a Saturday game to give them time before their Europa League play-off the following Thursday.

Assuming the SPFL accommodate them, I suspect we’re looking at 5.30pm on the Saturday.

Which would be absolute scenes.

TIME FOR CHANGE!

Last 2 cup games against Aberdeen at Cappielow have gone to extra time.

1996 7-3 game & 2012 which finished 0-0 & then went to extra time where we lost 2-0

Perfect time to play Aberdeen at this stage of the season imo looking forward to it.

I thought the same at first. However, last season was the same every game was either streamed or televised on the premier sports channel.

The streamed games were Aberdeen, Dundee, Spartans all Saturday 3pm & Dundee United, Motherwell were streamed at 2pm Sunday.

Also, have they not been streaming games at 3pm throughout the group stages anyway?

Might have to stand corrected there, then.

There are exceptions to the rules, such as international weekends and the close season, which July (and hence the group stages) is interpreted as.

I can’t understand why they’d get away with streaming Saturday 3pm games when the season’s well and truly kicked off, though.

Confirmed for Saturday 3pm

Right decision

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come
