dunning1874 Posted May 28 Posted May 28 If it follows the same format of every previous group stage, that's Motherwell and Peterhead away. Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
Ferguson Posted May 28 Posted May 28 You’d expect this to be one of the groups where the top 2 seeds both manage to pick up enough points to go through, hopefully we’re in decent nick come the start of the group.
so72 Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Any idea when the fixtures are released? Had a look but very little info.
SassenachTon Posted May 29 Posted May 29 For me - the Cappielow cup win against Motherwell still ranks as my greatest night out in recent history. I was buzzing for weeks afterwards. Still am, just thinking about it.

Mr.Blue Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Many folk travelling up tomorrow? I'm giving this one a miss. If no one else is brought in before kick off tomorrow I'd like to see us go with: Murdoch Ballantyne Moore Longridge Delaney Wilson Gillespie Blues Crawford Moffat Davies Subs- Trialist (Albinson), Corr, Hart, Garrity, Trialist (ideally a forward). Assuming Garrity is fit he'd be on the bench. Tough game but one we have to be winning of we want to progress from the group which is possible. 3-1 Morton. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

TRVMP Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I can't believe the season is back already, frankly. Need to get rid of these early cup games or play them midweek or something. Players hardly get time off, there's hardly a pre-season. I reckon we'll win 2-1. 1

Players hardly get time off, there's hardly a pre-season. I reckon we'll win 2-1. Our last game was 10 weeks ago and midweek games are almost loss-making shite. The Herbalife merchants can dry their eyes and get on with it. This is by far the biggest stumbling block to get 9 points from 12, which should be our target in this group to give us a good chance of progression. Stenny's 'ambishun' has predictably hit the buffers of financial reality - I'd expect Peterhead to be a stronger League One opponent this year, and they're rolling in off a title too. Would be pleasantly surprised if this is a comfortable result though, can see us labouring to a draw and penalties. 2 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
Mr.Blue Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Garrity we knew was missing but no Sonny Hart? There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

Stevie Aitken's Love Child Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Thought we'd see Albinson in goal. Wasn't Murdoch supposed to have been in a moon boot earlier this week?
