dunning1874 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 This is the league table since Imrie left us. While Airdrie being one of the three teams who haven't been shite is a concern, it's just been a fundamentally silly division over this spell. It shows how big a difference a couple of wins will make if Murray can have a new manager bounce. RossMcC1874 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Despite us being not brilliant for most of the season we still aren't too far off the playoffs and also not too far off relegation but the championship is always the same. If Murray can start well and bring in one or two starters then its still not beyond us to be there or there abouts come the playoff, it could also go the other way if he doesn't start well.
TopCat Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Callummnnmn Morrison signs for Dunfermline. Imrie wanted him in the summer, but it would be a big gamble for us at the moment given our lack of a reliably fit striker. 2

We wouldn't have been in the running this time anyway with Dunfermline paying a fee and getting him on a 2 1/2 year deal.
Rossco Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Ross county game rescheduled for 15:01 instead of 15:00 on 31st according to email from fanbase. Hope everyone is able to make the rescheduled time
Gordon Ritchie Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Partick continued to spend beyond their means. Fan ownership is in danger of failing that club. https://thejagsfoundation.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/TJF-Commentary-on-Club-Accounts-FYE2025.pdf 1
dunning1874 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Queen's Park taking a pumping is good news, but Ross County getting a late winner at Airdrie is a nightmare; draw there was ideal. We need to win next week. Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
Mr.Blue Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Josh Fowler signs for St. Johnstone for 120k. Good to see a team around us lost their best player. They also won't see any of that money as it'll go straight to Lord Haughey There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

Even on loan till the summer if we cover his wage for 4-5 months
dunning1874 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I'd be surprised if anyone at Morton is earning even a third of Shaw's wage. Hamilton are going to have to blink and accept not having all of it covered, but there'll surely be higher bidders than us. dazza Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Tom Lang signs for Abroath on loan from Falkirk. The kind of centre half signing we need.
CM48 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 All I'm concerned about really is staying up, however these next 4 results seem plausible(ish)... Arbroath beat Ayr Morton beat Raith Partick beat Dunfermline Morton beat Dunfermline If that happens we could be 4th! I know it's extremely unlikely, we could easily get scudded off Raith and Dunfermline. And with the teams below us sharing points out between them this week I really am looking down rather than up. But this league continues to be absolutely mental! 1
Mr.Blue Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Ross county currently beating QP 1-0 at lesser. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come
Mr.Blue Posted February 24 Posted February 24 QP and Dunfermline both score late equalisers in their games tonight. There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come
AyrshireTon Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Morgan Boyes sent off for punching a QP player after the late equaliser. Fresh stain on the floor when I moved in. He may have checked out short of a useful amount of blood.
