No one can grudge Dougie's chance at moving on to another team with a bigger budget, even if it is plucky wee Partick. And if he does go I'm sure he'll do so with the gratitude and best wishes from the vast majority of Ton fans for everything he's done in the last 3-and-a-half years.

I'm just a bit worried if he doesn't get it that might negatively impact his enthusiasm and motivation in carrying on with us, also taking account Andy's abrupt departure and the current uncertainties caused by the ongoing bin-fire. Hopefully his professionalism will not let any of that have a negative influence on him, but you'd have to be concerned.

If rumors are to be believed it's not the first time he's been tempted elsewhere, but he's never shown anything but a stubborn determination to succeed. I am not worried about it, whatever happens. He was always going to move on sometime; if it's not now, I don't see him throwing in the towel.

If he goes, I hope the board don't then rush out and appoint Brian Graham.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Indeed, he has shown a lot of resilience and overcame several adversities in the past 3-and-a-half years. But I think the current shitestorm and losing Andy to boot will be his biggest challenge to date. If he can get us through this and keep us in the Championship, it'll be yet another impressive accomplishment. All assuming he stays of course.

Dougie openly said at the Q&A that he has applied for various jobs in the past and he is aiming to manage at the top of the game, and rightly so. If he goes to them, it’ll be disappointing but wish him all the very best and the effort he has put in here has been tremendous.

The frustration is if we were in a position to really back him financially he would probably be the one to take us up. I always felt nicking into the playoffs under Dougie would be the way to see us promoted as he can always get that wee bit extra out the team.

Some absolute bumpers on fb saying they’d take Brian Graham as our new manager. Have a word with yourself.

Seen one particular do-gooder suggest this and it didn't come as a surprise at all. Probably a "top guy"

Even if he hadn't shat the bed at Dunfermline, no thanks. Probably a decent part-time player-manager but IMO he doesn't have the MINERALS for the Championship.

What’s your favourite mineral?

Imagine Tidser will throw his hat in to the ring ?

And hopefully we throw it straight back out.

New sponsor if the heat pump manufacturers move on?

Would absolutely love to know if the order and design of the new strips has been sent to Joma when the sponsor wasn't in place for next season.

It was great to see Stuart Kettlewell in attendance at the U18s Cup Final, followed by a visit to the women’s game yesterday. Brilliant to see he already cares about all aspects of the club. Maybe he’s already eyeing up the next Lennon Miller from our U18s, ready to hand out first-team chances when he steps into the manager’s role next season, with Dougie heading off to Partick.

Kettlewell being linked with the Killie job. You'll look like a proper fanny if he doesn't come to Cappielow.
