Hearing that Alan Forrest is in training today hoping for a 6 month loan til end of the season. Decent business I reckon

Would seem odd him being in training when not signed and a bunch of clubs interested im him.

Or someone with AF on their gear was spotted and the spotter deduced Alan Forrest. Like when 'Sto...' was spotted on a keeper and everyone had us signing Harry Stone before Storer was announced.

Cue Adam Frizzell signing.

Dunno just what I heard from my pal in clearing the leaves today might be someone that looks like Forrest

He'll be great alongside Barrie McKay, obviously.

Player and staff day off. You should have a day off, too

Barrie McKay in training today think he’d be a great addition. Obviously didn’t work out the first time around but more experienced now.

He clearly didn't think any of us had long memories either.

Happy with that. Terrible attitude. Lazy player. Seemed to go down "injured" every game. Played like he knew he was leaving.

Hopefully we can replace him with someone who has a bit more energy and better fitness levels.  I’ve thought a few time this season that we would have benefited from having someone up front in the Gozie Ugwu mould.

Was wondering about Muirhead going out on loan as he isn’t getting a lot of game time.  Sadly if this happens I think Raith would be a more likely destination given the Imrie relationship (and the fact he never seemed to forgive our support for the abuse he took earlier on in his Morton career).

I had also thought there might be a chance of us going in for Jack Hamilton but that seems unlikely now too as Imrie seems to rate him.

Aside from the characteristic meltdown in his last game at cappielow and big periods of questionable attitude in his time here, Muirhead is still on more than 20 appearances for Livi this season so that's not happening.

A quick striker and a brute of a defender required for us. Get those in the door and we can afford to ship another couple of the benchwarmers out.

Leaves us with only one out and out striker in Brophy so hopefully we are able to get one in before tomorrow.

Three out and no objections to any of them all sensible decisions lets just hope we can replace them with some quality.

Another option up top someone with plenty of energy and a solid centre half wouldnt go a miss. Garrity and O'Halloran have actually done okay as wingers recently.

Still feel we are too soft in midfield also but im sure Murray will know where he wants reinforcements.

past couple of months he has just been making sub appearances of 15-20 mins here & there so has definitely fallen out of favour.  Livi owner also making noises about spending big to try and keep them up so I can see him going out - just not to us.

Agreed.  The squad is bloated and there have been so many complete passengers this season that we can probably afford to let 4-5 go out with only a couple coming in & still end up with a stronger squad than we started the season with (depending of course on the quality of any additions)

He got a very good reception at Cappielow when he came off playing for Livvy last season, He actually came off at the cowshed side & applauded the fans on his way round.

I thought that was sarcastic. Immediately after he started pointing at the lack of a roof and slagging us off. It was quite funny.

Happy with that. We’ve had far worse strikers but he just missed too many good chances. Which could be fine, but he contributes so little the rest of the time that you’re really relying on his finishing to justify his place. At times he’s had to deal with us launching high balls at him which isn’t his strength, but even on the deck and out of possession, he just didn’t do enough to make up for the wastefulness. Sadly he never looked quite as quick or as sharp as I remember him when playing against us.

Main concern is Brophy’s fitness struggles and how close we now are to playing Moffat or MOH as a lone striker.  Hopeful for a swift replacement.

A common tactic that we used at the club was to announce signings at 1:30pm on match days. Once registration was cleared, we would sit on the news until just before the team lines were handed in. The opposing manager would then see an unexpected name on the team list and it would (hopefully) upset his preparations. The best example was the signing of Ambrose, who had been signed for over a week and served his one match ban before anyone knew he was our player (hence the confusion among fans about fielding an ineligible player). So here’s hoping there’s news tomorrow.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

If he's fit.......Filip Stuparevic until the end of the season. Last I heard (Nov '25) he was still recovering. Doubt he'd get a sniff of a 1st team place at Well right now.

Nah. I don't think he's what we need

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun
