RossMcC1874 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I would be trying to keep a hold of Adeoyle he knows where the net is and if he gets a good pre season under his belt and steers clear of any knocks you are looking a double figure goalscorer. A lot will depend on what happens with certain other teams in the summer regarding vacant manager positions if Imrie goes not saying he will but if the squad will look a whole lot different.

Hello Mr.Blue, unsure what lesson I had to learn, simply passing on information to my fellow ‘Ton fans. Iain Wilson will join Dougie at Partick in the summer, leading to Mr Kettlewell being appointed as Morton manager due to his positive relationship with Dale.

TONofmemories Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Hard from a source inside the club that it was Imrie that just scooped the Morton Lotto. TIME FOR CHANGE!

John369 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Looks like the rumours about Dougie heading to Partick are real. Hearing from a few folk now that it’s pretty much done. That lap of honour at full-time says it all, really. It wasn’t just a stroll—he went round every stand, proper taking it in. Spent a bit longer clapping the Cowshed too. You could tell he knew it was his last game in charge. Shame to see him go. 4
John369 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Not such a shock seeing Wilson went straight down the tunnel at full time, not hanging around to acknowledge the fans. He’s saved a bit of face by getting half an hour in a few dead rubbers, but with a pre-contract already signed with Partick, his mind seems to be elsewhere. 5
TRVMP Posted May 2 Posted May 2 I have no idea what's happening with these two and I could easily believe it either way, but you don't get to give going around the stands as evidence that someone's leaving and also the fact that someone goes up the tunnel as evidence that someone's leaving. If both of them had done the exact opposite you just have posted the same things with the motivations reversed.

Dougie’s lap of the pitch at full time felt like a genuine farewell, taking the time to acknowledge the fans and soak in the moment. In contrast, Wilson heading straight down the tunnel said it all — no interest in being part of it, especially with his move to Partick already lined up. 5

"Dougie was straight down the tunnel at full time, ready for the next challenge at Firhill. Wilson was lapping it up, walked all around the pitch applauding the fans. Maybe feeling a wee bit guilty at moving on when he's been injured and the fans love him." See how easy it is? 2
Popular Post GiGi Posted May 2 Popular Post Posted May 2 Just been informed that I, too, am off to Partick next season. 6 Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

Mr.Blue Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Mullen was leaving the ground tonight and was asked if he was signing a new contract. His reply was that there would need to be one put down in front of him first. I really hope we have some clarification soon on the manager and contracts are offered to players we hope to keep. DaftTon74 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 If the news doing the rounds this evening is true. The player of year awards tomorrow evening could certainly be interesting to say the least…
John369 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 It apparently all went down after the game, with Andy Millen in his office when Dale came in and handed him a letter. That was it no big meeting, no drawn-out conversation. Just a quiet sacking behind closed doors. Apparently, as Dale turned to leave, he said, “You won’t be missed.” 6
