Moffat out with a fractured arm. Thought he was much improved against big-spending Partick.

Shame that as he looked good on spells last week. Imagine Garrity will replace him on the wing. Broadfoot back on the squad and Shaw back next week.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

Like most I would have Garrity in for Moffat but wouldn’t be surprised, or overly disappointed, to see Imrie bring in Crawford instead. He did start the season well for us on the right and also did quite well against Partick.

Once again the away team communicate it before Morton do. Yet another dereliction of duty from the General Manager.

Surprised the game is off at all, equally surprised it took 37 minutes after the planned inspection to make the call.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

Leaving it so late and saying it’s “precautionary” had me thinking it would’ve been fine.

Keeping things tinpot for the New Year it seems, brilliant.

Did they not literally announced it within the same minute on twitter? I was refreshing both pages and saw it on the Morton page first.

Unless they announced it somewhere else a minute or so before.

Ah, we've been stung by the weirdness of Hamilton having multiple twitter accounts. The one Scott Struthers runs announced it 3 minutes earlier.

Airdrie used exactly the same language yesterday. I took it as code for "we think it's fine but the officials might not."

There have been a few clubs recently that have been unhappy with call offs from officials. Was it not Dundee or someone who played a full training match on the pitch after a game was called off?

Aye, they didn't used to have an official one, right? I've been confused by that one a few times. I generally don't use twitter - things like this and team lineups is pretty much all I use it for.

Surely Sat 18th for this to be played instead of midweek???

Hamilton are still in the cup, with a very winnable tie. So if expect a midweek game.

Sold out hospitality lost for a big game where the team had some momentum, for a midweek game where we won't be able to sell any and our form might have turned by that time. Shitshow for the club financially, which should have never have happened in these weather conditions.
