So I’m assuming you were implying you think Gillespie was a very good player then? Even that is a bit of a stretch. He’s never been anything more than a steady footballer at this level.

No I think he is a very good player and is often still a standout player for us. Certainly miles better than Lyall who inexplicably starts every game.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

Fair enough. I’m still interested to find out why you think he is a very good player at this level, could you elaborate? I accept he’s tidy on the ball and brings an element of calm and composure, but those attributes aren’t enough to be classed as very good.

I agree with your point regarding Lyall - he’s been getting away with murder all season. Must be another one of Dougie’s favourites.

I'm not and never claimed to be, I was just stating my personal opinion. In fact, throughout this discussion I've included 'IMO' multiple times.

You're a fucking weirdo. Just my opinion.

You also stated multiple times that the exchange did not start with a supporter swearing abuse at the team but rather the manager shouting abuse at the supporter.

And that has been demonstrated to be wrong, on a factual basis. So your personal opinion is completely irrelevant to that fact.

A state of irrelevance I'm sure that you're used to by now.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

A pisser that we aren't playing this weekend. Looking at some of the names still in the cup we definitely got a shit draw although you could argue we have been fortunate the last couple of seasons.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come
