Fair play to Cammy for stepping up to jump in goal, but Woods was listed as a sub and we only made 4 changes. So why wasn't he considered to replace Mullen if needed. Assuming he's carrying an injury.

You're only allowed to make your subs in three separate stoppages - we'd had Garrity for Crawford, Blues for Wilson and Gillespie & Reynolds for Lyall & Stuparević - so regardless of not making five we weren't allowed to make another. Yet had the injury been a concussion we would have been allowed another, pretty harsh when it was clearly a genuine injury and Mullen could hardly walk.

Was sorry to hear Alastair's announcement that big Andy Morrison has passed away. RIP big fella.

Sad news indeed.  Worthy of a thread in its own right.  Andy was well liked by many, and was a messageboard legend in his own right from the early days.  He was also someone who emerged from the whole 'stars of 79' debacle with his integrity intact.  I remember meeting him c.2014 at the 1-0 Celtic game and having a laugh with him about the messageboard and apparently me creating havoc.  A likeable big guy and a real gentleman.

Rest in Peace.

Indeed. I was glad there was an applause for Andy during the first half.

It shouldn’t be forgotten how hard he fought in the dark old days to rid Morton of Hugh Scott. More than most, he put his head above the parapet to challenge that old bastard, and it was apt that he was remembered on a momentous day in Morton’s history.

It’s very easy to point to Douglas Rae coming in and paying the bills, but were it not for guys like Andy, we may not even have got to that stage.

Anyway, a couple of more thoughts from my Sunday viewing that I preferred to keep on a separate post to one paying tribute to Andy.

Firstly, I watched back A View From The Terrace today, having missed it on Friday night. Great to see all the inbred goons on there, and Ian Murray predicting a resounding win for big-spending Raith Rovers, only to see them bodied. Get it up them.

And also, Neil Collins’ post-match interview on Raith TV. If ever I saw one, that’s a manager with “not lasting the season” vibes. Much as Murray was, and is, a complete dick, he always had me listening to what he had to say. I don’t see that with this guy. Stuttering and stumbling through an internal club media interview that’s designed to turd polish, you can only imagine his players easily switch off soon after he opens his mouth.

He’ll be gone in March.
