AyrshireTon
Some mutterings on the Raith thread on P&B that they’ve appointed Neil Collins as manager. Edit - confirmed. https://x.com/RaithRovers/status/1831066066476494912 Edited September 4 by AyrshireTon McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. TRVMP
Big-spending Raith go down to ten men early and are now trailing 1-0 at East End Park with 20 minutes to go. If this result holds they will be ROOTED to the bottom of the table on 3 points, with an inferior goal difference to ourselves.
vikingTON
2-0, no doubt they'll have a suitable gif prepared for this unfortunate turn of events. 2 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

CM48
FFS. After tomorrow our only home league game on a Saturday before December is November 23rd! I found this so hard to believe I just posted this in the wrong thread before deleting it and putting it here. I know we've got a Tuesday and Friday game, but one Saturday at home in 9 weeks seems a bit poor. Edited October 4 by CM48

Very easy to stick the boot into them, but I wish Morton had acted on the guy who twice shouted that Todorov was a “fucking refugee” at New Broomfield in April, rather than saying and doing nothing, and hoping the whole tawdry affair would be forgotten about- which it duly was, sadly. 1

The official site still has it shown as being at 3pm on the Saturday. vikingTON
Hamilton can now be definitively added to the pile of teams who are objectively worse than us. They might get some improvement from sacking Rankin but I don't see their sketchy setup surviving a couple of knocks anyway. TRVMP
Other results went about as well as possible today. League One minnows Airdrie lost so they're bottom on five points, big-spending Dunfermline lost so they're two points behind us on nine, big-spending Hamilton Accies lost at home to cash-strapped Livingston so they're on 15. Big-spending Partick held big-spending Raith at home. Falkirk running away with it, seem to be on course for two successive promotions to fully end their banter years. Definitely a division of two halves.
vikingTON
More like three snakes in an arse kicking contest at the bottom, and the rest of the league consistently more competent (though not good either). League One is a complete binfire so if we were to finish 9th, I think we would be favourites to scrape through a play-off like we did under slaphead Gus. The two crucial games in this quarter are Dunfermline (h) and Airdrie (a) - if we can get a minimum of 4 points from those then our trudge to consolidating our place in the division will likely be on track. 2 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. bob_the_builder
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cwy15ll9pk8o Reading this morning that Partick’s begging bowl is back out and hasn’t even managed to gather any dust!
