I see Niall McGinn will be appearing at hospitality at Hampden on Saturday, when we also have a game.

Obviously anything that keeps him from getting on the pitch for us is good news as he's the worst player at the club by a distance, but it sums up his attitude to Morton as well.

He wasn't on the bench last weekend and nor was he present at the sponsors night this week. Assume he's away?

He may well have been told he's leaving anyway, so why not.

Seeing as he was on loan, him leaving was a given.

McGinn's loan apparently expired on Monday which is odd timing should he have actually contributed anything, but at least he's away.

Hearing rumours that Iain Wilson is no longer injured, he’s apparently told the gaffer that he’s signed a new deal elsewhere and doesn’t want to risk another injury this season. It’ll be sad to see him go, especially after everything he’s contributed to the team.

Well well well you have just been blown out the water with your nonsense.

Mullen and Woods both out for the rest of the season. Looks like we're trying to sort out an emergency goalie, otherwise it's 17 year old Murdoch for the last 2 games ?

Where's this came from?

Wouldn't mind going with Sam but definitely need a back up.

Just stick another youth keeper on the bench.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

We had an emergency loan from Dundee stay at Tontine on Friday but couldn't get paperwork done. Did wonder if we'd then get it done for the remaining two games. Would make sense given Imrie still seems to think we've a shot at playoffs to have some experience.

On the Telegraph website this morning. Says both Mullen and Woods have fairly serious injuries so they're done for the season, working to get a loan in but might need to go with Murdoch.

Murdoch has created a tough decision there with his performance on Saturday. I'd be picking him ahead of Woods anyway if Mullen was the only one injured.

Murdoch earned his place in the team with that performance albeit it was only against Airdrie.

Give the kid a run out for the next few games even if we do get someone on loan.

If Murdoch plays do we not then have to pay compensation for cutting the loan short? I thought that was part of the reason we were looking at another loan.

Mullen has been out injured several times this season I wouldn't be disappointed if he left in the summer.

Fancy! Are we made of money? Get him down the Premier Inn. Or stick a sleeping bag in Cappie's Corner.

I really rate Mullen, but he's struggled with injuries his entire career so far. In the 2 years he's been at the club it feels like he's rarely been "fully" fit. I really hope he can get to the bottom of his injury issues as he's got the potential to be a very good goalkeeper and play at a higher level.
