Hearing rumours that Iain Wilson is no longer injured, he’s apparently told the gaffer that he’s signed a new deal elsewhere and doesn’t want to risk another injury this season. It’ll be sad to see him go, especially after everything he’s contributed to the team.

Not really acceptable, if there's any truth to it. I assume we're still paying his wages?

Even if he is off at the end of the season, if he's still under contract and receiving a wage he can't make such a demand. I smell shite.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Wilson move on. However, this is absolute waffle. Total nonsense…Next.

Load of nonsense, he’s been out for 10 weeks with an unknown injury! Been injury free for 6/7 weeks. Plenty players love Morton but move on for more money elsewhere, comes from a source within this family

At least in future his family will know not to tell you anything since first thing you do is run your mouth off on a public message board. Sweetie wife.

On reflection it's probably better in the grand scheme of things for denizens of Greenock to be peddling relatively harmless pish like this; as opposed to the absolutely unhinged, xenophobic/ peado conspiracies that are currently flooding social media - see any Greenock Telegraph story with comments turned on.

I'd give us a 50-50 chance of seeing serious violent unrest (like last summer in England) in the near future, sparked by this worryingly large subsection of the local population.

'Is toon's getting wurse etc.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

What is unhinged about parents being rightfully disgruntled and concerned about the safety of their children due to the multiple reports and evidence of groups of people videoing and taking photographs of minors at local play areas?

Be very specific.

The Greenock Telegraph's comments sections are profoundly embarrassing, it's an apparently completely unregulated cesspit.

I see Niall McGinn will be appearing at hospitality at Hampden on Saturday, when we also have a game.

Obviously anything that keeps him from getting on the pitch for us is good news as he's the worst player at the club by a distance, but it sums up his attitude to Morton as well.

He may well have been told he's leaving anyway, so why not.

Agree that he's been an unmitigated disaster.
