Thought we did well in the first half. Defended reasonably well and hit the post. As I said previously we have to do better when defending. That's been a real weakness this season.

DUTV commentators are fucking turgid. Talking about us trying to rough-house their team. Broadfoot and Moult had a coming together in the box and they said he suplexed Moult🤣. Broadfoot is a fucking loose cannon.

Mullen on for MacDonald at half time. There was a clash in the box with moult which looked fairly innocuous.

Trigger warning for Dundonian accent:

Obviously a massive goalkeeping error (the defender touched it but that's the keeper's fault for not commanding his area and throwing himself on the ball) but full credit to Muirhead for chasing it down and being so aware of the opportunity. One time in a hundred a defence will mess up an easy ball over the top like that, and it's the striker's job to be ready for that 1% chance. He did it brilliantly.

French has made a huge difference today. Having a natural right back brings a balance.

Robbie Crawford's energy and drive is priceless.

Would have taken a point before kick off

Same here, but that’s a missed opportunity for all 3. Putting Gillespie and Wilson on killed all the momentum we had and brought pressure back on ourselves.

And if we went for it and lost a late goal others would have been criticising the other way. A point is a very good result up there. Can totally see why we shut up shop.

Thought Mullen was great when he came on.

Excellent point and a very solid performance.  After the equaliser it felt like we were the only team who were going to win it, but we lost a bit of that momentum after the subs and ended up backs to the wall for the last few mins.

Hopefully this is a turning point after a bad run of results and we can go on to build a bit of form.

Props to Robbie for the goal - yes it was a defensive blunder but he showed great awareness and was in the right place to take advantage of it.  I really liked the look of French & thought Mcgrattan put in a great shift.  Also great to see Crawford back - he is so important to the way we play.
