dunning1874
That could be a 4-3-3 with Quitongo and Muirhead wide in the front three and McGrattan in midfield, or it could be some variation of 4-4-2 with McGrattan and Quitongo wide. I hope we don't regret trying to accommodate both Oakley and Muirhead in the team. Scott
Imrie getting close to Duffy’s tombola selection method. I think only one of Muirhead and Oakley should be starting, and unless Miller is carrying a knock it’s a weird one to drop him after last Saturday. vikingTON
No problem with the intensity so far but the team looks nervous and a bit low on confidence. I've seen enough of the O'Connor-Baird partnership at CB. We are shipping far too many goals on a regular basis to justify both playing and I'm not seeing any improvement. It has to be one or the other. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Pedrodelawasp
Enjoying how in their faces we’ve been since going behind, giving them far less time on the ball.

GiGi
By far the better team, actually a shame we're only the 1 goal up to show for it. vikingTON
Big call coming up on whether to gamble on us getting the third or fourth goal needed to sword these freaks, or bringing Gillespie on to try and shore up the midfield. Very good going forward so far but if the intensity drops then we're vulnerable defensively. dunning1874
You might have expected a team six without a win to let their heads drop after going behind against the run of play so early then capitulate, but conceding only saw us raise the intensity and we've been in control of the game. The concern is that we haven't buried it when we've had more than enough chances to do so and they'll inevitably create some of their own in the second half, but that's still an encouraging 45 minutes. port-ton
Twice I can remember Crawford playing the Gillespie role this season and both times he's been excellent. Pressing from the whole midfield has been great to see. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things! dunning1874
Fuck me, that was a nerve wracking last 20 minutes. Wild that we were hanging on so desperately when we should won that 7 or 8-2, but what a massive result. Pedrodelawasp
Nervy finish. A few very tired players by the end*, but a very good spell between their goals. Tidser was at the game today, sat in front of me in the main stand. *ETA Crawford’s energy level throughout was very impressive. Some engine on him. port-ton
In a way it could be good that we've held on to a lead rather than run away with the game comfortably as seeing out a game is something we haven't been doing lately. Thought that starting line up worked extremely well for us. Gillespie has been great this season and is very useful in some games but our pressing noticably dropped in midfield from the very moment he came on the pitch and it allowed a decent queen's Park midfield to get a foothold in the game for the first time since the early stages of the game. Excellent win and very much needed. We can start looking up the table again now. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things! Aye, bit of better luck and finishing away from it being a pumping and a more comfortable last 10.
