He made a few appearances in central midfield last season (although not sure we're any close to finding his actual position). If we were picking someone to deputise for Blues or Crawford then my preference would be King, but I think a straight swap, Pignatiello for Gillespie, is the way to go. It causes as little disruption to the balance of the side as possible. Pignatiello should be able to provide all the defensive cover, the big test for him is going to be if he can contribute to our build up play in the way that Gillespie has.
