The criticism of Muirhead is really harsh. He's doing everything he should be - leading the line, holding the ball up, battling with defenders and scoring goals. That was a great inswinging corner for the OG as well.

I've been one of his biggest critics but its a bit daft to expect him to have perfect composure when he's throwing himself about the way he did last night.

I too have been very critical of Muirheads effort, commitment and disinterested performances but credit where it's due. Last night he grabbed the opportunity and turned ICT's defence into a quivering mess, setting an example of what he is capable of. The pressing game worked well and we looked like a complete team with everyone playing their role. Long may it continue.

Any word on the backup GK situation?

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Bit of a stretch, I’d say. He did well considering he hasn’t played for a good while, but certainly didn’t outperform everybody else on the park. Crawford, Baird and Grimshaw all ahead of him at least.

He strolled it. Definitely a candidate for it.

He did well for the most part, besides losing the ball having an unnecessary dribble at one point and missing a spectacular attempt at a diving headed clearance!

Fair play to the guy. I’m glad to see he appears really happy to be with us and long may he play like that, and even better as he settles in alongside Baird
