I thought Ambrose was suspended. He's still down on the list as having an immediate SPFL league match suspension.

Just saw that. Can someone text Dougie?

To be clear: if the current suspension list is correct, and Efe has an immediate one-game suspension to serve, then we've lost 3-0. The game's kicked off and we have a player currently listed as ineligible. When Hibs did this against us in the League Cup back in July, the game was awarded 3-0 to Morton.

This online list is only a guide, of course. It says so at the top. But it's not looking good.

Competing theories:

1) We actually signed him before our last fixture (which could square with Accies' announcement that he was "with Morton"
2) He served out his suspension after Dunfermline were relegated but before St. Johnstone's season ended.

Have we completely overlooked that Efe Ambrose was sent off in last season’s playoff for Dunfermline against Queen’s Park?!

1-0 Muirhead

Blues got the last touch.

I'm praying the Efe thing is an SFA error and he's already served it, either with us or with St. Johnstone.

Efe Ambrose 😍

That ICT number 15 just found him irresistible, couldn't keep his hands off him.

The scoreline isn't an unfair reflection of the game so far. Inverness haven't had a sniff. We've been all over them. Every time we play the ball long they look shaky. They've got no choice now but to go for it as well; if we can keep the pressing and energy up and dispossess them more in midfield they're in deep trouble.

You can see what they're going for with their passing play, however. I'm not saying it's game over. But if we keep this energy level going we could absolutely shoe them here.

Absolutely!  We’re long overdue to give them an utter doing after the results they’ve had here!

1. The lack of any comment about his existence in the pre match video makes me fear point 1 can't be accurate.

2. Not sure this one is possible, moving back outside transfer windows.

FFS. Morton swording Caley and we are left to worry that Morton have done a Morton.

St Johnstone played four games after Dunfermline’s playoff loss, so hopefully he served his ban then, assuming he returned immediately and didn’t remain with Dunfermline until the end of May.

Doubt he would be on this list if that was th case.8C6A371F-1291-4DBC-A747-83C376D696C7.jpeg.0fa86be325ed62279d6366ad4291758c.jpg
